Saints still have some tickets left for the visit of third placed Manchester City on Sunday afternoon .
After the sell out for the Leicester City game a couple of weeks ago you might have assumed that the top three clash with Manchester City might sell out quite quickly, however this doesn't seem to be the case although with five days to go before the game a sell out does seem likely.
Perhaps the reason tickets haven't flown out of the door as fast as you ould have expected is because the game is not only on Sky TV but also a Sunday lunchtime kick off, not to mention that 8 days later Manchester United also visit St Mary's making it an expensive week so close to Xmas.
The fixture last season played a week later in December attracted 31,229 including 2,541 City fans roughly the number of tickets they have taken this year.
Most of the tickets left are in block 43 in the Northam, recently returned by the visitors who obviously aren't expecting to sell more than they did last season, otherwise the main areas with reasonable availability are in the usual areas to sell out last in theItchen corners and the Chapel.
As it stands I would estimate around 1,200 or so remain and as Saints supporters wake up to the fact this is vital clash which I won could see Saints pull away from City in 3rd and indeed the chasing pack, they might finally fly out the window.
