No less than we deserved. Were the better team for almost the entire game. Great to see Tarbs score and the sheer determination of the old boys Hill and Derry made me proud to be a Ranger again. I also think Zamora's contribution might have been over-looked 'cus he didn't score but he was magnificent today. And finally Barton had a great game too. Every player was 200% better than they were at Sunderland.

Discipline and marking and perseverance the likes of which have not been seen so far. What a joy to watch. And Paddy's big save may just have saved the season.

Best performance of the season all played really well but Zamora was fantastic, never stopped winning and holding the ball up, for the midfielders to get forward. Unfortunately, we picked up 5 yellows! How close to a ban is Diakite?

What does Hughes do at Man U, only three days before we play Swansea at home? Put too much into Sunday and it is likely to damage the team for the home game. Hopefully he will have Helguson as a back up for Zamora as I don't think he (Zamora) can play that role for 90 mins twice in three days.

U rrrrrrrrrrr's

200% better than at Sunderland!! More like 1000% better!!!!!!!

Yes next weekend is a dilema. Whatever happens we simply must get 3 points against Swansea, that must be the overriding priority. No good going to Man U, trying to win and losing the game and knackering the team and then not beating Swansea.

Man U will not be underestimating our abilities now, so it will be a tough game. A very tough call for MH.

I would be happy with a low score loss followed by a 2 or 3 goal win against Swansea.

But as always, anything now seems to be possible....

Thought Lucas could have done better with both second and third goals. We don't deserve a lge 1 team if less than 2,500 can be bothered to turn up for a must win game - there was only one crowd smaller in lge 2.

Best home performance of the season. Every player put in a shift for once. Thought Zamora run his socks off for the team, Diakite broke up there midfield play and then looked majestic with the ball at his feet. Great finish from Taarabt and great save from Kenny. Well done lads!

Brilliant display all round. Each player knew what his responsibility was. We closed them down so well and didn't let them play. Diakite looks a real athlete - ironically reminded me of a young Viera, and he will only get better.
