Absolute tosh and waste of time watching. The great RB experiment with the boy failed miserably as he was at fault for three goals by being too far up the pitch, not anticipating the oppositions moves and failing to block as usual. Truly rubbish.

Battling first half performance not helped by the officials. We might easily have gone in 1-0 up at half-time. But in the last quarter the game it became very one-sided and it looked like Liverpool would score every time they attacked.

Our settled back four was like a house of cards. Take one card out and the whole thing collapses. We missed Cedric BADLY. I know he couldn't have played because of injury anyway but we have really shot ourselves in the foot for the remainder of the season. Without Cedric our defence is once again looking like a leaky sieve. Because he had to fill in at right-back, we also missed Ward-Prowse in midfield.

Great first half. They got away with a couple of hand balls but the penalty decisions evened out.

Could have been 2 nil up, unfortunately Shane did a great block.

Defence did the usual and just watched people when we needed a bit of positional play or a block.

Hey ho. A bit frustrating if I'm honest. The score doesn't really do us justice.

If only we had played the second half like the first. We still showed we need someone to organize the central defense got caught at sixes and sevens for the last two goals. No need to point fingers as it's plain to see where we still need improvement, still the effort can't be faulted but we do seem to always have a lap of concentration that sometimes we get away with and sometimes we don't,this was one we didn't.We have some games coming up now that are very winnable.Coyr.

A great watch and at half time we could have been leading. Friend only gave us free kicks on the halfway line. How was that passback ignored?

Very disappointed that everyone is giving such a low mark to our team, they played really well and with a better ref we could have won

Didn’t watch the game so suppose I can’t really comment, but come on people, with the exception of aceofthebase you’re talking like we lost to MK Dons. Were you really expecting us to get something from a team that has dropped 2 points all season at home?? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Reality check needed please.

Dreary! Why do we have to wait until extra time to come to life? The BBC tells me we had 18 shots and only one tested the keeper. We had 10 corners and 70+% possession, but lost and to be truthful Bristol City looked pretty composed most of the 90 minutes.

I know, understand and accept that Warbs wants to play out from the back, but we still need movement from our midfield and forwards. The triangles between Wallace, Amos + Masterson, or sometimes Hall generated no momentum, no pressure and no space to attack. Too often when Amos, Eze or Chair get the ball their first instinct is to play it back to a defender or someone in a deeper position. Yet they are all capable of hitting the killer pass or at least one which stretches the opposition defence.

Eze and BOS disappointing today. Hugill keeps battling but gets poor service, and is slow when an opportunity arrives. Hall's marking for the goal dreadful, although just possibly the wind made it difficult for him.

On a positive note we did create half chances, but do we not practice shooting first time? I thought Dom Ball was our best player - he at least showed a desire to get the ball forward and play quickly, rather than waiting until the opposition defence is set up, nine players are behind the ball and then thinking what should we do now.

Oh well there's always next season...

I would, I would upvote you again but they wont let me. The others seem to have gone to a different game?

Saints played extremely well in the first half and could have scored 4 goals ourselves with a bit of luck so well played boys, but we missed 3 things yesterday a natural right back, jwp in central midfield and the biggest one of all stuart Armstrong
