Awful first half we were great second half up to going 2-0 up then stopped playing but for smithies might have ended up drawing but NF were awful...apart from that nice day out went on stadium tour before game would recommend it.

Referee was having a good game until he was conned in to giving away the penalty, by Rashford.

Most of the Saints players showed a lack of desire and too many mistakes for much of the game. (Though there were a few sparks for some of them.) Positive note was that the defending wasn't bad, and Remeu (predictably) and Stephens (refreshingly) had good games. Boufal, Tadic and Redmond were surprisingly ineffectual.

Fantastic result but could not believe morons around me booing Ash.Did a fantastic job for his long career with Swans and always played for the shirt.Once a Jack always a Jack.

First time I've ever seen a result with no football match.

This was simply awful once again if this is the new Southampton Way then we'll win more points from dull-fest draws than friends from our fast attractive football. Puel in desperation mode and it ain't pretty.

You have to fight for every point against the top teams and what a great fight by Saints. This sort of game is never pretty but there were some exceptional performances by our defence. We were a well drilled team and for once Forster earned his paycheck.

I can understand the frustration of some that we could not attack more but sometimes the opposition dictate how the game is played, the skill is denying them goals and that is what happened today
