Refwatch: Southend United v Rochdale Thursday, 18th Apr 2024 09:00 by TVOS
Dale’s final game of the season at Southend United on Saturday will be refereed by PAUL JOHNSON.
This will be Mr Johnson’s third Dale match this term and the second in the last five weeks after he officiated our 4-1 win at Eastleigh in mid-March and the 1-1 draw at Kidderminster last September.
Based in Surrey, Paul is his second full season officiating in the National League.
He was promoted midway through the 2021/22 campaign and continued into last term when he refereed seven games, showing 35 yellow cards and two reds.
His first appointment this season was Dale’s game at Kidderminster, while his most recent match was Wealdstone v Dorking last Thursday.
