Schneiderlin To Manchester United (Finally) Monday, 13th Jul 2015 07:29 Morgan Schneiderlin is on the verge of finally joining Manchester United in a move that will nets Saints in the region of £25 million
Depending on what report you read Morgan Schneiderlin has either undergone or is about to undergo a medical ahead of completing a move to Old Trafford that could be done as quickly as Monday morning so that he can join his new team mates on their tour of the USA.
Personally although it will be sad to see him go I wish Morgan well, he has been a good servant to Saints and deserves a big money move at this stage of his career, his loyalty to Southampton Football Club I not in question.
He is rumoured to be about to sign a £100k a week contract and that is perhaps not a wage he could have earned with us.
Perhaps Morgan is not grateful to Saints that they stood firm last year at her than let him join Spurs, it has certainly been better for his career in the long term.
So good luck Morgan Schneiderlin, when you retune to St Mary's I hope Saints supporters give you a warm welcome and thank you for your efforts in a way we never got the chance to do last season due to injury.

Many sources also reporting that Saints are on the verge of signing Jordy Claisse. I think one transaction has freed up the other. Good luck Morgan.

I hope you're right Nick and he does get a warm reception on his return to St Mary's. He's one of the best midfielders we've ever had. Thanks for everything Spiderman.

Ah, it must be good to have £100million+ to spend every summer... soon there will be no players left for United to buy. Bitterness aside, good luck Morgan

Yes good luck to him. A fine player. Goodbye to Lambert, Lallana, Clyne, Schneiderlin, Chambers, Toby, Shaw. All very good players but with clever reinvestment we can move on. This is only our 4th season back in the prem and I think with the reinvestment we have made we can be fairly sure we won't be in a relegation scrap which is very impressive cos most teams cant say that.

Good luck to him, he definitely deserves this chance and I hope all Saints supporters feel the same way. If United have any sense they will build their midfield around him.........

Sad but inevitable. It is a good point to say that we did him a massive favour last summer. If Man U's big spending works out then they will be challengers at the very top, whereas Spurs...

Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process.
