What Would Michael Do - Stoke City
Saturday, 9th Nov 2013 09:03

It's that time of week again to make your selections for the upcoming game against Stoke. What would Michael do as he looks to prepare his side to return to winning ways after last week's disappointment at Cardiff.

Goalkeepers

The easiest decision of them all. Michel Vorm earned himself a one match ban for his challenge on Frazier Campbell last weekend so Gerhard Tremmel takes his place between the sticks. We know about Gerhard and we know that he won't let us down.

The Back Four

With Ben back and fit this could have almost picked itself but the news is that Ashley Williams is an injury doubt for tomorrow so Jordi Amat is on standby to return to the side. Angel, Chico and Ben will all play in this one as will Ash if he is passed fit.

Midfield Two

Jose Canas and Jonathan De Guzman were in these positions on Thursday night in Russia but I can see Canas dropping to the bench and Leon coming back into the side to partner JDG. This seems to almost be a preferred option at home and I can't see it being any different against Stoke.

The Wide Men

Roland Lamah played midweek he will not start tomorrow as I believe that Michael will go with both Dyer and Routledge for this game. If Pablo was fit he would be a shoe in at the moment but we have to take what we have so it's the usual two for this fuixture.

Up Front

A chance for Pozuelo to play in the role behind Bony as the front two for this game. I like Poz I think he has plenty about him and I think he could give Wilfried some serious service in the game. There's goals in this pairing I am sure of it!!
