Yeah, the normal ones I've got don't have a massive range.
I can cut the grass and they still work if my phone is indoors, but any further away and they drop the connection.

The only feature I wish they had is some way of skipping thirty seconds via a tap or button press on the headset.

I also listen to a lot of podcasts and enjoy the ability to skip 30"

Bristol did really well getting a fee then. Maybe this tactic only works when the player is in demand?

Maybe it explains why a few of our players in their final year become free agents, or have to go abroad

Fancy bone conducting ones, so they don't sit on or inside your ear canal.

Nice for running or cycling, as you can still hear some of the outside world.
Very stable as well.

Battery lasts ages, but no ability to track them like airpods unless I missed that

Personally I'm now more worried that Dembele is the type of character to decide he doesn't "fancy" it on the morning of a game.

Are we back to the bad old Mick Beale days of Tyler and Laird sitting down on the pitch when it all gets a bit too much?

Didn't the DS play on the Thursday though?
Surely that would rule out promoting anyone who had played into the first team for a game on Saturday (or the travel up on Friday).

Maybe its all about a contract renewal, and the handful of apps under Ainsworth have led Kolli and his reps to believe he's worth more than what has been offered.

If he is as good as some of the people online think he is, then the club should have no problem selling him in January if he wants to leave

I think Marti has to pick his battles. They played WIllock when we got desperate, but knew he was on the way out.

We don't get to see the damage that might do to a team as we aren't in the dressing room etc.

But, if the new boss says that they won't use a player who doesn't want to be there, then I think thats OK.

I'd love to see Kolli get in the team and do well. There is nothing better than watching a young home grown player make it (or so I imagine).

There is absolutely no way that Rayan doesn't know what he needs to do in order to be in the first team.

Even if the feedback is to knuckle down, work hard, keep quiet and play in the DS.

I agree, but passion doesn't top skill.

Otherwise we could play one of those Crystal Palace cheerleaders.

For me Smyth is very limited, last night was about the best I've ever seen him play.

Someone please take him off corners! Dembele or Anderson can at least beat the first man, and Chair would be a better option on the edge of the box to take a shot if it bobbles back out than our CM's who were there last night

Smyth looks a right chippy pr1ck. The camera caught him throwing his arms around after one cross his fizzed across that Celar didn't stretch for.

I reckon a lot of this squad don't like each other, and its showing on the pitch

Yeah, that was me asking Dave if he had heard anything!

I'm only guessing, but I reckon Kolli has bought a nice car and was acting like he "made it" around the training ground off the back of a few apps last year under Ainsworth.

Not sure if its Marti or Christian Nourry trying to nip that in the bud by putting him back to the Dev Squad, or maybe he didn't want to sign a contract and the club won't let him play while he runs his deal down.

I don't think I've seen enough of his game to pass any judgement, but If he really is that good then I'm confident another club would have swooped in to steal him away for minimal compensation...
