well said perchie, we have no need to sell , so why lose our finest asset for a measly few quid. if he goes how much will we have to spend to find a (probably) substandard replacement?
these speculative transfer items are bread and butter to an increasingly unimaginative core of sports journalists - eg would bony want to go to looserpool and get splinters on his deriere while suarez and sturridge start every game?
its shite reporting at best and extremely annoying at worst.
huw ,gary and the board will be well aware of their long term plans and i'm 100% certain that they revolve around keeping bony at the liberty. |

should we lose tomorrow i will not be too concerned, as long as we play with the heart and commitment to the shirt that GM seems to have restored to the team. it's far to soon to judge GM as manager but he has made a terrific start. If he is retained post season it will be interesting to see what calibre of player he can bring in to the squad, one thing we can be sure of is any new arrivals will come here wanting to play for Swansea City, not just attracted to playing under a famous name manager. Our club is big enough to attract good players without the ML factor.
and in answer to the op question - no way would our performance have been as good under ML but we might have had the same result except that the game would not have been half as entertaining as it was.

if deguzman plays we can not afford for him to jog alongside Adam in midfield without putting in a challenge for the ball, charlie has found his shooting boots recently so will need to be curtailed. No needless free kicks to feed Crouch and if we play with anything like the intensity , pace and desire we showed last saturday we should get another super away win.
