Been to a few tribute bands this year but my next proper gig is Toots and the Maytals in Kent in April
Obviously Toots is no longer with us so we will see!
I did see the blockheads a few years back obviously again without Ian Dury and they were still brilliant.
Bands I have seen in the last few years are Madness, Keane, the foals and spear of destiny, also went to an evening with Ralph McTell which turned out better than I thought it would. |

We will win today, I missed Norwich as my mother in law went to hospital, I actually got in the ground for Oxford but was summoned home before kick off as my mother in law passed away, it going today as still helping my wife through her heartbreak.
Last time I saw us win was at Cambridge!
I am going to Norwich next week then most of the home games and a few more aways so we will see if I really am a jinx!
Bear in mind the first Manchester United away game I missed in ages was New Year’s Day 1992. |

Last time I went I was detained for two hours in secondary immigration despite paying for an ESTA.
No explanation given as to why. |

Had to leave the ground before kick off Wednesday as my mother in law suddenly deteriorated after being in hospital for a week, I was meant to be staying the night in Chigwell, ended up getting a black cab there from Liverpool st (£65) and git home to Lowestoft at 11.30 just as my mrs rang me to say she had gone.
Mrs is finding it tough as her mum moved to Lowestoft just after we did and they saw each other every day.
I’m probably going to miss the Preston game as well, I also missed Norwich as that’s the day after she was admitted to hospital, I’ve only seen us win at Cambridge this season! |
