| Forum Thread | Came across this rant from a few years back at 14:18 24 Apr 2014
Fck knows who wrote it but its genius: I take more pleasure in seeing Chelsea lose than I do in seeing QPR win at the moment. I sat through so many matches when we were absolute dogs**t under the likes of Ray Harford and with people like Paul Bruce, Matthew Brazier and Mark Perry in the squad and I never felt like this. The club isn't ours anymore but moreso than that - football is just properly gash these days. I mean really gash. football generally. I hate nearly everything about it these days.... I hate the Prem and the myth that it is exciting this year. Man City breaking into the top four isn't exciting. They spent loads of money. It's no more exciting that Nameless C*** getting to number 1 in the charts after winning the X-Factor. I hate the myth of Arsene's kids. Buying some French kid when he's 17,playing him in the League Cup and then selling him when he's 20 after about 3 appearances in the league is NOTHING SPECIAL. I hate hearing about Liverpool/Man Utd's debt but nothing ever happening about it. A club needs to go to the wall for the money thing to change but it doesn't happen. Why the **** are Charlton, Leeds and Southampton still in business? I hate Frank Lampard's stupid f'ing face. I hate that Joe Cole's tongue is never in his mouth, the downsy spacker. I hate John Terry being England captain when he's CLEARLY AN OAF. I hate the England team. I hate young exciting wingers who have nothing but pace. Tony Scully had nothing but pace. I hate the FA Cup. There may be little shocks like last night but for the most part you know who's going to win it. Unless a team throws away all their financial security to win it a la Pompey. I hate Harry f'ing Redknapp. And Jamie Redknapp. And Louise Redknapp. And the Wii. I hate James Nesbitt, Eammon Holmes and f***ing everyone. I hate Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer. I hate Garth Crooks. I hate Garth Brooks for that matter. I hate Sky Sports. I hate that when a lower league player beats 10 players and chips the keeper it doesn't matter but if Rooney scores from more than 20 yards it's amazing. I hate that everything football related has to have 'Club Foot' playing behind it. I hate that female sports journos are now mandatory. I hate Mark Lawrensen for not coming out. 'I do like a big man at the back'. I bet you do. I hate any advert that portrays football to be about anything other than pain and disappointment. I hate any advert that mentions pies at football. I hate Lee Hughes and the fact that he makes a living from the game. I hate Marlon King and any team that signs him when he gets out. I hate that it'll probably be us. I hate Phil Brown. I hate 'well the ball is a lot lighter now and will cause goalkeepers real problems this summer' before EVERY F'ING TOURNAMENT. I hate that Kieron Dyer earned more in the time I took to write this post than I'll earn this month. I hate Adrian Durham, Ian Wright and Alan Brazil. I hate Gazza. Either die or shut up. Stop f'ing lingering. I hate hearing about Hillsborough more than I hear about Heysel or Bradford. I hate that a comeback from 4-0 down at half time (TWICE) means nothing because we aren't f'ing scouse. I hate Leeds. I hate Roy Keane. I hate grown men wearing football shirts of their team whilst shopping on a saturday when their team is playing at home. I hate that I don't hate Roy Hodgson. I hate Jermaine Beckford and any player who has neck tattoos. I hate songs being inappropriately taken as club anthems and then sungin a manly way. 'I'm forever blowing bubbles....'. Gaylords. I hate Danny Dyer and anyone he's ever interviewed. I hate the book 'Cass' by Cass Pennant. It is honestly the stupidest thing I've ever read. Chapter 1: Millwall. 'Yeah we took 50 to Millwall. They had 1000 in their mob but we ran 'em up and down the street'. Chapter 2: Liverpool. 'Yeah we took 50 to Liverpool. They had2000 in their mob but we ran 'em up and down the street'. Fk me... Jade Goody's autobiography is probably better. Even her non-ghost written one. I hate that all good youngsters end their careers at Spurs before they start. |

Anyone who actually thinks Ale would accept £1000 a week needs to lay off the crack pipe |
| Forum Reply | Fernandes takes out new £27m loan at 09:30 28 Mar 2014
You seem pretty much in the know. Has this been confirmed by our board, who will be building, owning or funding the investement? In my eyes they are simply looking to build up the credit rating of QPR - whatever ltd company the name is in, and there is nothing wrng with that. |
| Forum Reply | Fernandes takes out new £27m loan at 09:02 28 Mar 2014
The loan is taken out in the name of QPR Holdings" but backed with a personal guarentee from our wealthy backers. It is quite conceivable that we need to build up the credit rating of QPR holdings especially with the ground if it is to be owned by the club. The fact that they are personal guarentors to the loan simply adds confidence to me that their long term support is here, and infact us being a ltd company means that there is no risk against the club at all. Not sure why it is so difficult for people to recognise the difference between a named loan acquirer and a personal guarator?, and why people automatically think it means someone worth billions would need to improve their credit rating. |

Past his best, not worried about Forest in the slightest. Infact I think both Brighton & Reading will finish above them. |
| Forum Reply | Karl Henry at 12:56 29 Jan 2014
Come end of the season, the MOM peformances he put in away to Leeds and Bolton and the 6 points earned will be well worth the money spent regardless of what he has done. I belive those 6 points will be vital. |

Henry was 250k no where near 1 million. |

Absolutely spot on Neil... He has alwways done a "job" when asked upon. One fine goal saving tackle late on yesterday, when their tiddly wink pulled the trigger. Will always attract negative comments whatever he does because thats what QPR fans do. |
| Forum Reply | Is this really Matt Doran on twitter?! at 11:06 24 Oct 2013
Nope he was a manager of burger king 100%. Wants Redknapp out if we drop 1 point or more before amas. I agree.... Someone needs to coax him back on here for a laff |

Watch Deontay Wilder.... Hasnt fought anyone of note granted, but there are not many more natural athletic punchers in HW division than him. Will be mixing with the likes of Fury/Chisora/Tony Thompson next year so will see. |
| Forum Reply | How badly are we treating Hogan? at 11:05 7 Oct 2013
Ruined his Career???? He has had numerous opportuniities with us and has been on loan to Wolves, Leeds etc. If he was good enough he would play. The simple reason he doesnt play is because he is not good enough. Too light weight, doesnt know his best position, too weak to play in centre, cant beat a man to play on the wing. Lovely lad, great pro, excellent attitude and I hope he goes on to do well, but to blame us for his lack of progress and ability is ludicrous. |
| Forum Reply | Faurlin!! how in god's name at 09:05 23 Sep 2013
I love Ale, but you seem to forget, his midfield have contributed to 6 clean sheets and put us top of the league. Not too bad really and sound reasoning for ALe not to be starting. The penalty Saturday came from O'neil bursting forward from midfield then laying the ball off to Austin, Faurlin cannot do that and isnt as defensive as Henry, hence being in the middle somewhere and not starting. |
| Forum Reply | Genuine question about tonights game at 09:06 19 Sep 2013
Decent reasoning, but why change to 352/532?? The defence has kept 5 clean sheets in a row, putting another player at the back, or infact trying to play with 3 CB's and Simpson/BAE as wing backs will distort a very steady back line. If we lose saturday, playing this, the questions will be there from our most fickle of fans "Why did we change a defence that kept 5 CS's" "Why did we change formaion when we were unbeaten" etc The key for me is to play as we did last night formation wise, make sure Matt Phillips keeps wider , offerring a threat from out wide and stretching the opposition back line. Bring in Tom Carroll and push him further forward to link with Austin. Defensively we are fine; Dont touch it, just need to find the right blend offensively and I think Kranjcar will be this link. |

Anyone who can come here and say Haye isn't a talented fighter has a serious lack of boxing knowledge. He may have become rather stagnent recently but as far as boxing talent goes, David Haye is good, very good. Fury on the other hand is dime a dozen fighter, trying to make it big. |
