I live in a sleepy village in Essex and am unfortunate enough to come under the Clacton Ward. Had a neighbour ask me today if I was a "Nigel" man. Absolutely not was my response, I then got a rant about how he was the only one with balls enough to say how it is and we are being invaded etc. I really wanted to bite but made my excuses and left.. I'd absolutely love it if he doorsteps my house. Come in for a cuppa Nigel... not sure he'd get out without ears bashed.. but he won't wander over this way when his audience is in Clacton itself. Clacton and Jaywick are first class sh1tholes but there are some very affluent ares nearby and in recent years a lot of people moving out of London, buying much bigger houses for half the price and enjoying life more, so he won't have it all his own way as the East Londoners are being diluted. Anyway, did you know that if a vote is spoiled then it has to be read by all candidates and they have to agree that it is spoiled. Almost worth writing Farage is a racist c*nt grifter with a tiny dick on the ballot paper just to see the collective faces.. |

Only caught the last half hour as was out at a family gathering but as much as it pains to say it, he was nothing but complimentary towards us. Funny to see the double take when he realised it was Dunne scoring that goal. |

A few years ago I cycled the Paris Roubaix sportive (went over the handlebars twice on the cobbles). At the end, got in my car, still in my kit and drove to Paris. Got up early and ran the Paris Marathon. 4 months after being in hospital with sepsis. Not repeating that again... |

Speaking as someone who has an aviary in their garden, I frigging hate Sparrowhawks, the Chelsea of the Birdwood. Always causing aggro in the garden in the Summer, unless the cat is about.... |

I got pulled up by a copper and given a stern lecture for walking down Ilford High Street wearing a " Caister Unites the Nations Tribes" t shirt. Couldn't see the issue myself.. |

Couldn't disagree with this more. Nihal is a great presenter, he' has some superb well reseached guests - read some great books as a result of listening to them. Nihal also knows his music, was a good promoter of gigs as well back in the day. Top bloke. |

At L'Etape 2014 we went up the Tourmalet and I honestly thought Noh would be waiting for us when we got to the top - thunder, lightning and a stream going down one side of the road. It was 2 degrees at the summit in July!!! Started the descent cautiously but it was so cold my whole body was shaking and the bike so had to say sod it and pelt it down. Clocked 50mph in the pouring rain dodging cow sh1t which had washed onto the road - it was that or worry that someone else would happen. got to the feed stop at the bottom and it was littered with skinny bodies wrapped in tin foil suffering from hypothermia including 3 of my mates. For once I was glad to have a bit of weight on me. That thought soon disappeared up the next mountain to the finish as the sun switched back on and it was in the high 30's! That's how quick the weather can turn in the mountains. |

Having ridden L'Etape Du Tour a few times I can testify that these guys are just machines. Definitely the toughest sport there is. Hate Eurosport coverage - after a few years Carlton gets right on your tits so have switched allegiance to ITV and David Miller's calmer approach. Anyway - COME ON CAV!!!! |

Or we'll be in the top 6 all season and some sages will say they don't warm to Warburton and not a patch on Warnock or Ollie. |

I did this in New York Marathon November 2019. Finally returned to training last week, 18 months later but I'm a lot older!! Tried to comeback twice in the interim and broke down both times. Not a nice one.. |

My ex detached both retinas when she was drunk and walked out in front of a car. Had operations on both (separately) - all pretty straight forward and no adverse effects.. |

Team Oxford last Saturday - was rough as a dog from Sunday onwards. Finally feel human again today. Interesting that my resting heart rate was up 10% during that period so body clearly fighting an alien... |

Ah Discogs - been buying off of there for years but the last couple are a bit of a lottery - if only all these newcomers would know how to grade records correctly - M- coming through as VG or worse. Not an isolated instance - belong to a few forums on record collecting and the consensus is stick to who you know and don;' trust the grades of newbies. |

Having no income for several months this year and reduced income for the foreseeable future will mean that much of the Eze money will pay for running costs. |
