Andrew 'Tommo' Thomas, a big Swans fan from Cardigan who was the Scarlets match day announcer, has sadly passed away

We do seem to be conceding too many crosses into the box. But that's not really the fault of the centre halves. Full backs and midfield should be preventing those balls from being played. |

This lot are what's holding back young British coaches - not the foreigners as they'd have you believe. They've won nothing of note and still get all the vacant PL jobs. |
| Forum Reply | Watford reject Everton move for Silva at 10:57 14 Nov 2017
Silva is an excellent manager. Tactically spot on. No one would have saved Hull last year. People are forgetting that we stayed up in spite of our coaching staff, not because of them. Hull had no Llorente and no Sigurdsson. Dyche is a good bloke but is very limited to a club like Burnley. All he knows is how to work on a shoestring budget and set a team up to sit back and defend (both of which he does extremely well). He would be useless in charge of Moshiri's millions, and not only do Everton not have the players to play a tight, narrow 4-4-1-1, but the fans and club hierarchy wouldn't tolerate that sort of setup. |

What you've described is essentially a coaching role to be honest. Despite what some people claim, Britts being club captain in the same vein last year had absolutely no bearing on us staying up. Only the link-up between Sigurdsson and Llorente did. The current team looks completely bereft of instruction, dynamism and motivation on the field which is why a captain that will actually play is paramount. |

The powers that be can't be arsed integrating any players from Toshack's youth side into the first team. Says it all about how much they truly rate him. The 5 minutes that McBurnie occasionally gets may as well have been won off the back of a box of Kellogg's. Just Jenkins cutting costs and compromising quality - as has been the case since Laudrup left. Absolutely stinks. |

The problem with local print media is that they simply accept what the club spouts and rarely challenge things. Gareth Vincent (formerly of the Evening Post) and Chris Wathan of WalesOnline are 2 examples. The latter in particular was a reputable journo until he decided to take whatever Jenkins fed him as gospel. David Conn in the Guardian was the first to write about the dividends Jenkins et al were taking. Currently, only Stuart James in The Guardian is giving us fair and detailed coverage. Our protests have been relatively meek and only by making more noise will the press find it unavoidable. |
| Forum Reply | Why isn't more anger being shown to owners? at 11:27 30 Oct 2017
Blaming the owners for the current state of affairs is like leaving your front door open and then claiming it's the burglar's fault for nicking your TV. The Americans are venture capitalists. This is what they do. They want a return on their investment. Every man and his dog knows that. The real guilty party are those current and ex-stakeholders who sold out to them. |

I've always thought there's something in the Lyman Lemnitzer theory. He was an old US Army General who put forward a plan called 'Operation Northwoods', in which the US would stage a false flag terror attack in California in order to frame Cuba/Castro. This is a widely-known fact and not speculation. JFK didn't approve the plans, and Lemnitzer didn't get another term on the Joint Chiefs of Staff committee. That was 1962. Year later...bang. Oswald said "I'm just a patsy". I know you can't take what comes out of someone's mouth that seriously but this has far more substance than anything the tinfoil hat brigade have come out with. |

Brewstone is nice for pizza, tapas and other small plates. Thai Bach serves up great Thai food as the name implies. Surprised it hasn't opened in Taibach though. I'd avoid the Japanese restaurant Wasabi, very small portions that don't justify the price. |

Clinton couldn't keep Monica Lewinsky a secret and a grand total of 3 people knew. How some people fall hook, line & sinker for a plot that would involve thousands (if not tens of) is beyond me. |

PC can slate the players all he wants, but has to accept a degree of blame himself. He set the team up in that awkward formation, selected the wrong players and made questionable/ineffective substitutions. Newcastle are no great shakes by any sense, but I feel if we started with Bony and played with a wide midfield rather than a diamond then we'd have won that. |

You have to literally be pick-pocketing one of the inspectors as they investigate you in order to fail the Fit and Proper Owners test. |

Assuming Sanches does get a bit of 'extra attention' from Premier League sides, space may open up for Clucas and Carroll - who both have the ability to unlock defences themselves. |

While probably not directly involved in securing the deal himself, Makelele must have been a pull as well. |

If you're really bothered about transfer fees, cancel your Sky & BT subscriptions, stop going to games and stop purchasing official merchandise. |
