How about….
It is with regret we have to announce the departure of Dragan Solak and his team from Southampton Football Club. Whilst Sport Republic came to Southampton by virtue of Gao being skint and needing a quick sale, and zero track record, the results and performances since they have been in charge have been very disappointing for everyone involved. We therefore feel the need to act now and put the club up for sale. Seeking a new owner and first team manager we hope to bring a new vigour and direction to the first team for what remains of the 2024-25 season.
With that ambition in mind (and for the interim period up to the point of sale) we are promoting Adz to First Team Coach with SaintRob as his assistant coach until further notice. We are confident that Adz and Rob can engender a new discipline, rigour and tactical confidence to the playing squad that will re-invigorate our displays on field, and which will ultimately lead to winning games and restoring the fans faith in the club as we build for the rest of the season and beyond.
In the meantime, we would like to thank Rasmus, Ivan and others for their efforts and wish them very best for the future. Prior to our departure we will knock down the Red Wall and reinstate the away fans back to the Northam. We will also ensure the stadium is expanded to 75,000 prior to sale building over the beaten down Gulags. [Post edited 24 Feb 7:01]

We’re gonna smash Chelsea off the park. The scenes witnessed when Davis, Mane & Pelle rattled their cages back in 2015 will be nothing compared to this time around.

Whilst I detested the football played under Rylan, like it or not we knew the style, and what he wanted. Under Juric just what ‘style’ or format are we trying to play? Seriously I am baffled.
Having attended all the relegation battles of the nineties I can take the continual losing (and having poor players) PROVIDED the players put a shift in and get some challenges in. There is absolutely no commitment from this bunch of fairies. They are not even fit for Christ’s sake.
Never in my lifetime did I expect to see us get battered at home by the likes of Brighton or Bournemouth. That is meant in no way to disrespect those clubs and I really do hope they can upset the establishment, but this just shows how far we have fallen.
Sport Republic are getting away with it week in, week out with no repurcussions. Absolute tinpot owners. [Post edited 23 Feb 9:12]

Agree totally re: manufactured boozers. Try to avoid Grumpy Monkey and the like where possible. The only boozer around Guildhall Sq. I do pop into occasionally is Belgium and Blues. Hadn’t been there for a while but just noticed last week that the Angel has closed again.
If you’re gonna drink in places like Grumpy Monkey almost just as well drink in the Gulags [Post edited 22 Feb 6:59]

Both cracking boozers (never been in The Guide Dog though).
Have had a few in the Book Shop mind(same neck of the woods) which has some decent ales on.
For those wanting ‘bands’ and decent lager post match, get to the fanzones as I believe they have both?!?! [Post edited 21 Feb 9:19]
