Apologies if this has already been covered (been down in the ground for the past 3 weeks!) but has there been an update on the likes of Amos, Cameron, etc? Cheers |
| Forum Thread | Our Transfer Business at 12:30 1 Sep 2017
All in all is everyone generally happy with our business this window? I like the idea we've dived into the lower leagues to unearth some gems instead of the easy option, ala Redknapp and buy only 'big names'. Do we think the signings made in Smyth and Wheeler are for now or the future though? Would have liked a Clint Hill or Delaney signing until the end of the season to add some bite/stability to the already fragile back 4 but all in all quite happy! |
| Forum Thread | Tonight's Approach... at 16:05 14 Dec 2016
With all the doom and gloom spreading at present, how should we approach tonight? Of course we all want a win, but realistically should we consolidate with a draw, end the losing streak and re-evaluate for the weekend? |
| Forum Thread | We deserved so much more today at 20:34 2 May 2016
Once again we were left to watch our side give in to another team who needed something from the game! All to often we tend to hand sides or players a goal or 3 points that they've been craving. That said, I was impressed with our application today even if we did lack that cutting edge in the final third - next season could be a long one if we continue with this approach... Too often the full backs received the ball and knocked hopeful punts down field both when Polter was on and off the pitch with no reward - surely this isn't a direct instruction from the bench? As for Phillips lasting 90 minutes 🙈 |
| Forum Thread | Hill's injury at 14:22 5 Apr 2016
Apologies if this has been discussed previously, but do we know how bad Clint's injury is and what are the chances of him playing tonight, as after the Boro game we desperately missed his leadership. |
| Forum Thread | DOF at 14:59 24 Feb 2016
After watching TF recent interview for Sky Sports, moving forward, as we're no doubt writing off this season, the question is, do we really need a director of football to progress? Forget whether you love or hate LF, is that position a bit of a waste when you have a hands on chairman/shareholders and supposedly the best CEO in the division? |
| Forum Thread | Uninspiring R's at 23:47 26 Jan 2016
It goes to show how uninspired I am by everything QPR at the moment that I only found out two minutes ago via Sky Sports news that we played tonight!! I knew we were due to play Forest soon but didn't know the exact date - shame as it looked another cracker 😆 Thank small mercies for the FA cup this weekend! |
| Forum Thread | Bitter Sweet feeling at 09:20 4 Dec 2015
A very bitter sweet feeling in the Mole hole today! Woke up this morning absolutely buzzing after Warnock's inspired win last night and then that good feeling came crashing down to earth as it hit home that the club are making yet more unnecessary changes. Warnock's passion and energy clearly rubbed off on this group of players and that transferred to the supporters, well me at least. Really feeling the QPR buzz for the first time this season. Really do feel Ferdinand is pulling a PC stunt here - real shame - all the best Neil and thank you. #warnockisking |

Anyone else boycotting Saturday?! Just don't have the energy or desire anymore! |
| Forum Thread | Has Ramsey got lucky today? at 16:52 24 Oct 2015
Is it a coincidence that since Warnock has returned we've kept two clean sheets and 4 points from two home games? |
| Forum Thread | Faurlin at 16:52 12 Aug 2014
Apologies chaps if this has been discussed to death before, but I was just wondering how Ali is looking since his second ACL? I haven't been able to attend any of the friendlies and was curious if he looks any where near what he was getting towards before the Derby home game last year? Will he start alongside Barton on Saturday? Many thanks |
| Forum Thread | Football League Show at 12:21 13 Jan 2014
Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but having watched the game on Saturday (albeit from a live stream in Hennessey's pub) the overall consensus to our hugely improved performance, was how well the midfield supported Charlie Austin, previously non-existent in recent weeks... And, to be fair to Steve Clarridge (who BTW I detest) actually reiterated my views and highlighted the support from the likes Yossi, O'Neil et al... If we're going to play with the continental 4-2-3-1 formation, we have to get support to the front man, and we did this on Saturday with style. |

Does it pick itself? O'Neil in for Faulin or do we think Harry will tamper further? |

Apologies if this has been posted already but any news on Hoilett and his injury problem? Ta |
| Forum Thread | What do we want? at 17:15 7 Jun 2013
Reading these threads of late, makes me want to slit my wrists and end it all! Honestly, some of the short-minded poeple on here just make me laugh... Years ago we begged for rich owners to come in and save us - they did and ran the club as a business. We moaned and protested that they leave immediately as they didn't pump money into the squad. We then stumble across a man who, in my opinion is ideal for us and allows managers to make the decisions as he has no football knowledge - but hang on - this isn't right either, as he's pumped too much money on players and doesn't have a scooby about the game?? In terms of managers - Holloway was outspoken when in charge, now he's considered a God - Gigi couldn't speak a word of English and therefore wasn't right for us at the time - now we want him back coz he played great football. We urge for stability and sacking managers makes our club look like a joke... Redknapp's been with us for months and we already want his head for a 'younger' manager whith ambition (based on what?). We want a manager who stands his ground, makes his own decisions and isn't bullied by the owners, like most were under Flavio - then, when our current boss says what we've been asking for in years, it's not right and we want rid?! UNBELIEVABLE at times!! |
| Forum Thread | Blessing in disguise at 12:14 8 Apr 2013
Having had some time to relax, pause and take thought from yesterday, I wonder if Zamora's red card could turn our fortunes? My wife even mentioned that we look awful when Bobby plays and when Remy has come alive, it's generally been when Zamora isn't playing a part (bar Sunderland of course) With that in mind and 6 games to go, Harry has already admitted he wants us to get the ball down and play, so would a diamond 4 of Remy, Adel, Townsend and Hoilett give us the best attacking hope in picking up some points? What have we got to loose?! |
| Forum Thread | Rob Green for Cesar? at 17:27 21 Mar 2013
If fit and well, would you bring Green back for Cesar come the Fulham game? I personally would for a couple of reasons... 1) Cesar was questionable for all 3 goals on Saturday and if that was Green, he would be dropped immediately and so the same must apply for Cesar 2) As much as I like Cesar for his acrobatic camera saves, he just doesn't organise or command his area like Green does. Don't get me wrong, Green worries me a lot at times with high balls, but you notice the difference in Hill and Samba when Green is shouting at them and organising them - something Cesar does not do. |
| Forum Thread | Team for the Saints... at 10:43 25 Feb 2013
Assuming all fit - what team/formation to play the Saints and look for the win... ............Cesar............. Fabio....Samba....Hill...Traore ........Derry....Mbia........ ...Towsend...Taarabt....Hoilett ............Remy........... Maybe bring on BZ at half time when once again we're chasing the game?! BTW - Does anyone know why Derry didn't feature against Utd?? |
