Any news on whether they'll be serving booze on the concourse yet? They have every other time we've been up there, and I think we made the provision for their fans down here earlier on in the season. Hopefully common sense prevails! |

Has anyone ever heard Jess Phillips talk about policy? Strikes me as being all about "ME, ME, ME" - probably setting herself up for a decent performance (albeit a losing one) in this leadership contest so that she can exit the scene ina few years and continue to enjoy the life and salary she does in politics, outside of it. |

Yep. This is the one. Dhanda edging it over Celina as he scored the winner last week. Understand people's uncertainty about starting Roberts in a derby, but at the same time with Dyer ahead of him it could also be the making of him. He'll be so eager to impress. |

Not sure it would be possible for any of the candidates running for leadership to be given the deputy leadership. If it's run like it was in 2015 then the two leadership elections will run side by side, and the members get to vote on both. So whilst Jess Phillips may have a very high opinion of herself, I don't think even she thinks she could run for both posts at the same time... All will be clarified today though. |

Are America on "our side"? The first the UK Government heard about the planned strike was after it had been carried out. So much for the "special relationship" |

I know there's a couple of threads with people asking for a ticket or two for the game in 10 days time, but if anyone has any dropouts in the next week please feel free to post on here. Will bump when appropriate. |

Not sure where he's got the idea that our pressing game has gone. We're probably pressing more now than we have since the first season under Laudrup. |

Looks like it's gonna be a scorcher, highs of 32 degrees expected over the weekend. Agree on the lineup this year, it's probably the weakest at the top end since I've been going, with lots of acts who played the last few festivals. But there's lots of strength in depth lower down the bill, especially on the William's Green stage. All you Heavy Metal lot could do worse then to check out the Scum Stage in Shangri-La, plenty to keep you headbanging by there: https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/areas/shangri-la/scum/ The best 5 days of the year without a doubt, and still leading the way in almost every aspect when it comes to UK Festivals. |
