This thread is ridiculous. Laudrup isn't Jesus.
Laudrup has done a good job. No miracles. The biggest achievement was taking Swansea from League2 to the Championship and then to Premier League. Surviving season 2 and winning the Capital One cup is not enough to impress me. To work miracles he needs to take the club to Champions League.
When Laudrup leaves the asset Swansea will probably (depending on who replaces him) miss the most is the ability to attract players (especially Spanish). But the fame and financial situation could have improved then, so this won't be a big problem anymore.
In the end it is the players making the results. Laudrup and the board just pick the players and set the frames. |

Well. There is always a slight risk Williams will get injured when playing. Basically there is a slight risk of him getting injured just by getting out of bed. |

I think everyone thought Eriksen's transfer fee was too expensive for Swansea. It was surprising to see Ajax sell him so cheap (and to see Swansea actually pay 12-14M for a player). Not sure if Swansea would match Eriksen's salary demands. Anyway, Eriksen would not likely have joined Swansea.
I can also understand Danes saying Eriksen is shit after watching the Danish national team. Based purely on those performances he would not be good enough for Spurs, Swansea, PL etc. |
