First QPR game I ever saw was a 0-0 against Norwich on 13th April 1979.
I didn't let that scoreline and dull match put me off though. Hindsight is a beautiful thing..

A great read as usual Clive. It was on the money (pun intended).
If the breakaway goes ahead this could be a once in a lifetime/generation chance to reset English football.
A bit like resetting a South American or African country's currency, that has run rampant due to inflation and people are seen pushing a wheelbarrow of cash, in order to buy a loaf of bread and some milk. Though not quite..

It's a chance for a makeover, to make things sustainable all round. Pay people what they are worth, not the average person's yearly wage a week to sit on the Forest bench.

Either that or it'll all go tits up and we'll be telling stories to our grandchildren, about the time we used to sit in football stadiums drinking Bovril and losing the circulation in our legs due to inadequate leg space.
My Bovril cup is half full.

Watched it on Viasat over here in Sweden and the commentator was the same. By the end of the game I was feeling guilty I hadn't got him a birthday present.
