| News Comment | Masked man robs Rangers of point — report at 15:54:19
Thanks for the comments all, much appreciated! Antti - i ummed and arred about raising the marks for the defenders, but i thought that none of the QPR defenders did anything particularly *exceptional* in the match in terms of defending – Chelsea were remarkably blunt in attack and Henry, Barton & Sandro did most of the ‘hard yards’ in midfield. I worked on the basis that Barton deserved an 8, Philips, Sandro & Henry were the next best so deserved a 7, and everyone else, Green a side deserved a six. The match was great, but nothing particularly exciting actually happened! |

Merry Christmas you silly bastard. following your drunken arse around the country on a saturday makes following QPR what it is xx |

Promotion player of the year do, 3am. Clive, Neil, Mrs Jeff and I worse for wear, the bar was closed. No idea where to go next for a drink. Out of the darkness strides Derry, and with a simple 'follow me lads...' Walks us 10 yards to another bar round the corner that we hadn't clocked. Saviours really do come from the unlikeliest sources! |

perhaps in hindsight it should have read 'Man City's clean sheet against Sunderland is their first in twelve attempts this season...' |

Just as an edit, i've just physically placed the Premiership Yankee bet from my column above with Betfair, and i got the odds wrong by a considerable magnitude - any 2 is about 10/1, any 3 is 36/1 and all four is 123/1! |

Ade: I believe that Charlie called us 'an eye opener...' no i have absolutely no idea what that means, but i'm taking it to be a good thing!! |

Oakwood - having a girlfriend who supports the R's does have it's benefits though - Jaz-who-laughs-at-everything above is my missus, and for her birthday she REALLY wants to go to Sunderland away! |

To be fair to Clive we (i'm the far-too-nice-Andy in the tale...) were over the far right hand side of the away end where all the seating was unallocated and help yourself, and we barely saw a steward for the entire match |

So in Mario Kart terms, Everton are like Bowser, with a slow acceleration but a high top speed, whereas we're more like Koopa Trooper, with a fairly good acceleration, but a poor top speed, and a lack of robustness overall. |
