If all things were equal and the Law was fairly applied without discrimination, you would expect tens of thousands of Pimps in the major cities of the U.S. to face a similar if not worse fate. Surely, in thousands of cases young underage girls across the U.S. will have been subjected to violent behaviour and beatings to get them to comply.
But there's probably no money to be made from prosecutions, and no big names for the media to get excited about. There would only be justice for the girls who were mercilessly beaten into the sex trade. So it's not going to happen,

A Nazi salute could take just 2 seconds before a game, and even if I were a season ticket holder for 100 years, I would more certainly stay away.
It's a matter of principle, and my personal choice. It's a poor reflection on society that there are people like you waiting eagerly at keyboards to criticise or destroy other peoples personal values. It's a behaviour actually similar to the social media racists. |

I'm not going to any matches until the players stop 'taking the knee' I'm sure there are many others feeling the same way, 99% of fans never post on these sites, so it's difficult to estimate a figure,
I've been a season ticket holder for over 40 years and I've followed them away to at least another 50 grounds. I'll return to the stadium only when the team stop giving that gesture in support of the divisive 'BLM' political movement.
I would not have a problem with any other unifying gesture, or dance routine that they may want to perform in it's place. |

Whether he is guilty of anything or not, the USA is certainly not a country where the innocent can feel confident about justice being done. In many trials out there you may as well flip a coin. Remember the O J Simpson fiasco, and this case could end up as high profile as that. If I were him, and innocent, I'd have dealt with it exactly as he has.
He is certainly guilty of getting too close to the wrong people, and guilty by association, could be enough to get you 'the chair' in that mad country. |

It's at least twenty years since you could trust the media about anything. They are by far the biggest problem this country has. They love 'fanning the flames' and if there are no flames, they know how to throw a few sparks in. It's great business for them. |

I was on the Doncaster trip, we were all stood about in line with the edge of the penalty. area. Possibly only a hundred or two of us.
I remember a Doncaster girl wearing only a football shirt, she stood in the middle of us and became very tactile with ai least four or five lucky Swans fans. I tried my best to get within range, but the crush was almost as bad as it was for the Arsenal Cup game. |

With regard to your first paragraph, I couldn't agree more.
My principles are such that I have no choice, I cannot possibly condone these political gestures by taking my seat.
It's also great to see that dozens of footballers have already stopped the knee gesture. |

That's right, if they did the white supremacy 'Ok' hand sign, or other gestures like a nazi salute, I would also not turn up. A football stadium is no place for such gestures, and no good will ever come of it, it will only encourage a negative reaction. They need to concentrate on doing what they're paid for.
It's all about having principles, it's a personal thing. Some Championship footballers, and people like you can do whatever you like. I strongly disagree with it, but I wouldn't suggest you need to get a life, only a brain. |

If I turned up I would certainly be booing, but like many others who are strongly opposed to this particular gesture, I am leaving my seat empty. The statistic won't show up on the attendance figure, but you will see the empty seats at the stadium.
When they stop this pathetic gesture, I and others will return to my seat.
With regard to applause for kneeling, there's always been loud applause just before kick off, the players and media are taking advantage of those moments.
But If many are actually ignorant enough to applaud the gesture and vile movement,

Yes, the harmony was unique, quite astonishing to hear them perform live. I saw them at the Royal Albert Hall around 1971. It was billed then as their 'Farewell Concert' I seem to remember their dad coming on stage for one of their songs. Great music by gifted musicians. |

I'm amazed that Lowe is being persevered with, his limitations were evident last season, even when he had AA alongside him, he seems to have learned nothing from that experience, and he should now return to Teaching, it's a profession in which he will probably flourish.
I'm finished with the lot of them I was taken to my first game as a young kid in 1955, I missed some home games in the late 1960's playing in the Swansea and Carmarthen Leagues, I bought my first season ticket in 1971 and continued since. Over the years, I've supported the Swans at over 50 different grounds, many trips were before the Motorways were completed, we would start out Friday night, and we'd sometimes return to Swansea 4 or 5 am Sunday morning.
I'm not turning up any more to watch gesture politics on display, and also presented by a band of mercenaries, who briefly leave their pathetic social media worlds to play football for our great club, and also getting ludicrous money in the process
Virtually none of them have any historical, or family connection to Swansea. The club is also now owned by Americans, It is Swansea in name only, and I also feel disconnected.
I despise any form of racism or unfairness, but the pathetic sight of fit grown men going down on their knees, makes me want to vomit. I can't even watch it on TV.
If intelligent management returns, and the lunatics are safely returned to the asylum, I will be back in my seat, but I'm not optimistic. I know there are several long term fans who feel the same way, and this will become evident in the weeks and months ahead. |

TTK Is a gesture that is used to show support of what is in my opinion an abhorrent political movement.
There should be no official place for that gesture at any sporting occasion.
I have spent my entire life playing and watching sport at all different levels, and racism disgusts me.
TTK by being devisive, is already showing that it's counter productive, how can anyone with a brain not see that? |

20 mph limits, traffic calming measures, road markings that make overtaking illegal, priority to bicycles who pay no road tax or insurance, effectively meaning whatever vehicle you drive, you are still going to end up behind the same cyclist at the next set of lights. I remember when motoring organisations like the AA and RAC used to represent the views and interests of their members. Now they just run breakdown trucks.
Our LA has prioritised a policy of reducing carriageway space, and turning roads into pedestrianised areas for students, who contribute relatively very little to the local economy.
Car ownership was down last year, and the small increase in the number of cars on the roads in the last five years, should not justify the snarl ups we've had to endure.
The number of cars per household has gone up from 1.2 to 1.3 in the last few years, and this could potentially mitigate the small increase that shows up in the previous figures.
But what we've had is, one set of road works after another, very poor, and possibly deliberately bad traffic management by local authorities, who have one eye on the future of Congestion charging,
First create congestion where there was little, then slap congestion charges on the drivers.
That's what it.s all about, and it's what is on the way for us in a few years. I think the Mafia were far more trustworthy than national or regional politicians.
Don't bother anymore looking in the skies for ufo's and aliens, I think they're down at ground level and many are in public office. Names and faces of these individuals appear for a few days only every five years. After the election, they dematerialise again, so that they cannot be detected in any way by local residents, or Council Tax payers |

I was in my teens when organised football violence started to get going in the late sixties and early seventies, for many years it was extremely well publicised by the media, their coverage on TV and in the papers helped stoke the fire, and provided the fuel to inflame the situation until many deaths resulted, and there was regular trouble at every virtually ground in the country.
There were some wise people at the time saying that the publicity that the 'hooligan problem' was getting, was actually making matters significantly worse. I think most people realised that was probably true, but they could do nothing about it.
Sadly, the media senior managemant people, who were in a position to help calm everything down, didn't see it as their responsibility, they seemed to be more than happy for the problem to persist, even though it meant some fans losing their lives.
The problem is that in their media world, disharmony trumps harmony, and War is far more desirable than Peace.
Fast Forward 50 years, replace the 'hooligans' with 'racists' and here we go again.
This is exactly the sort of situation that the media thrives on, the more they can divide people the better for them. If the BBC could get away with newsreaders bending the knee before the six o clock news, they would be doing it, they back it to the hilt, no other gesture is good enough, it has to be that one because they know the knee gesture successfully divides the population. |

I think the match Officials certainly helped get the Final that the UEFA hierarchy craved for.
Savvy referees always know in these circumstances what is expected of them, I doubt they'll get any more favours in the Final against Italy, it would no longer makes enough economic sense.
Years ago, TV commentators and British viewers in their millions, used to laugh at the blatant cheating of the Italian players. Well we've come on a long way since those days,
I think Kane and Sterling are possibly the greatest, and most consistent cheats to ever play the game. The Italians are no longer in their league and should look up to them, but I'm sure they, and others all over the world, will further develop and improve their cheating, until such time as we get a level playing field. |

I think that common sense, a sense of proportion, and a sense of humour, have sadly diminished in recent years, and I'm afraid they are continuing to nosedive to the detriment of civility. I'd also say there's a distinct correlation with the rise of social media.

A few decades back I moved from SA2 to a rural part of North Gower. The house I moved to was about a mile from the nearest shop, which at that time was a VG store.
In my second day of residence, I drove down to the shop a few times to get some things. The lady on the till asked me on my third visit if I was living locally. I said that I had just moved into the property that was previously occupied by the retired doctor. She then asked me where I had moved from, I told her I'd lived all my life in Swansea. She said ''then you've moved next door to the Taylor's'' I said ''that's right I met them this morning''
The lady on the till, to my astonishment then said, ''They're english mind''
I already knew after talking to Mr Taylor earlier that he had lived in the village for 23 years. After 23 years of the family living in the community, that was her only comment on them. I was shocked at her pathetic words and attitude, and from some of the comments on here, I see civilisation is yet to move in the right direction for some. |

I'm afraid the Welsh motivational video didn't really produce the performance I was looking for, any chance you can get me a rendition of 'Rule Britannia' for our next big game, and please don't translate it all into Welsh, I want the whole group to understand the message.
