I'm not done, but if I can't make a game now, I don't tend to miss it. Maybe it's an age thing (53 now) but it wasn't that long ago I planned my days around QPR.
It's actually quite sad, because back in 81 when I first stepped foot into loftus road, it was the first place I genuinely felt I fitted in.
I've made friends for life due to QPR, and even met the missus through our love of this mad club.
Christ, when we moved out of London and bought our place on the sussex coast a couple of years ago, I made sure the journey back to Shepherd's Bush was easily doable.
I think it's safe to say QPR has consumed my life since the age of 10, but I just don't get as peed off as I used to when we lose. Just as well, or I'd be on the happy pills by now |

Completely understand. Seven of us sat in the pub after Saturdays game, all of us season ticket holders.
Only one of that seven attended last night's game.
It's getting harder to justify going, but alas, it's also getting easier to fund an excuse not to go |

Few times over the years. One that sticks in my mind is Barnsley away back in the championship winning season.
There was a proper punch up at half time on the concourse, with a load of confused stewards wondering wtf was going on.
I said to one of the stewards, not to worry as it's gone on for years |

Chatted to a group of thirsty Sunderland fans outside the Coningham who were looking for a watering hole. I sent them over to try their luck at the Adelaide, as they sometimes let away fans in.
Hopefully they got in no bother |
