He’s a poor man’s Eze - it would be a backwards step by Rangers |

I really enjoyed your review but feel you were a little unfair on the forward planning. Yes we have made a few stop gap signings this month in Charlie and the Fulham midfielder, but we have at least attempted to sign our own strikers and signed at least 4 players on longer contracts. They might not all work out but Les and MW do appear to be trying to look beyond this season. Perhaps they will explain their reasoning behind their signings at an end of season public forum? Because you do have a point as to who is behind the signings as last season they did appear to be more MWs than the recent loans which may/may not be. |

It has to be Dave Thomas but Andy Sinton and Trevor Sinclair were both superb for the Rs |

is that Stewart Houston? |

Let’s hope he signs a new contract |

Let’s hope MW comes good of this is at all a creditable story - which I don’t think it is |

Rangers can’t afford to write off Dykes and Bonne quite yet. Dykes has shown with Scotland that he can score at International level. Both are new to this level of football and need to be given much longer to adapt. |

Great post - some of the negative posts on here are ridiculous. We simply have to get behind our manager who is putting together an entertaining team on a relative shoe string budget - we lost our top three strikers from last season. I hope the lucky 2000 who get in enjoy the games. We played so well in the first half last night and we could so easily have been four goals to the good. |

Actually Dieng, Kakay and Hamalainen have been with us for several years (Kakay is our longest serving player) and do have playing experience albeit at different levels. The club should be congratulated for monitoring their progress and signing them all on long term contracts. |

Bombed out might be a bit harsh on Kakay - he gained invaluable experience at other clubs - I think I saw his debut against Palace when he was clearly overrun. I would like to think Ramsey who gave him his debut has been monitoring his progress since and advising our new managers |

Why all the negativity? We could/should have gone in one nil up at half time - how did the ball stay out? We battled well to get a point. We have a great manager who is working hard to improve the players we are buying on a comparative shoe string - just look at Forest! Dykes worked tirelessly out there for the team and Bonne is our second striker this season to score on his debut! Dieng looks assured, Kakay has been brilliant and Dickie also looks a great signing. 8th and I think/hope there is more to come... |

Three central defenders - not one marking - but Hall could see the situation best but did not react to either go across himself or warn Leistner that he had lost his man |

I really enjoyed our day at Wembley and Rob Green played a big part that day. If memory serves we signed him from West Ham and then signed the Brazilian goalie which summed up Rangers profligacy at the time and is a good example of why we are still in a financial mess. He signed a contract in good faith and gave us good service always trying 100% even if he did make some obvious mistakes. We made many signings at the time that gave us far less value for money including the Brazilian goalie whose name escapes me. |
