Are you seriously suggesting Jonjo is someone who would (I paraphrase) run hard and tackle even harder. While still very much technically able, would be an intimidating shield to Swansea’s back four. ? In what universe would that happen? No matter how much these Shelvey apostles want to enhance his myth Jonjo never ran hard, never tackled hard (unless you consider fouling a tackle) and apart from basic (and occasional Hollywood) passes was technically weak. |

A striker who could cost £6 - 8 million, even as an understudy, needs to have better goal rate than 1:8.5 with 3 assists. That's less prolific than Nathan Dyer! |
