Ah the annual cry of making a senior plater a coach. If Cook goes then you could renew the contracts of three or four those players at no extra cost. Cook is approaching the age when his legs could go ( bit like Andersen). Morrison is more than adequate to take over allowing for another younger player to come in. Same for Colback who is already showing injury susceptibility

That's why the tournament was split over three continents. It ruled them all out of applying. Will be interesting as to when it will be held as summer too hot and October/ November Ramadan is due.

Cook plays to a good standard every week but it's not just his age next season that is against him but his high wages. He is, reputedly, on double the wage of the second highest player. Computer says we could get another three Morrison type players for the money freed up. Colback is another who doesn't fit the current model.

Maybe three in central midfield, with two of them being more more defensive minded and Chair being more attacking. Also the wingers playing narrower allowing them to run either side.

Cacran, who play in the Slovakian 6th division, have a fully operational train service running pitch side. Supporters view is often blocked by a train going past.
