If they accept the bet they should pay out, unless they can prove you have somehow cheated. |

Well you obviously replied to the wrong post but I won't take it personally |

Is it the case that Florenc didn't get on with a lot of people. wasn't it her way or the highway? I may be wrong but hasn't she been accused (after her death) of taking credit for others ideas, just like Darwin! |
| Forum Reply | Morgan Whittaker asks to speak with Russell Martin over rumoured recall at 17:45 3 Jan 2023
That's not a fair comparison given that Whittaker has a lot fewer chanpionship minutes than Cullen. Cullen kept getting games when he did nthing to deserve it, Whittaker coulddn't get a chance after a hat tirck in the cup...against Plymouth and to be fair again, it's 3-1. For me it's totally down to Martin, I'd like to see Whitts brought back and given a chance but if Martin wants him to stay where he is then he should because we know Martin can be stubborn. I just don't see the point in spending a chunk on Ogbene if Whittaker could do that job. For whatever reason martin doesn't seem to want Whittaker, not now anyway and maybe never. |

What? Goading who? Just for complete clarity that post you have quoted has nothing to do with POTY or Dr P. It has to do with a dog. |
| Forum Reply | ARQS at 21:07 2 Jan 2023
I didn't want any result. I didn't take part out of choice remember, makes me a winner because I wasn't desperate to win. POTY is a laugh, or it was. You do like your put downs yet we are supposed to be playing nice, being polite. Some things never change. Try getting a sense of humour mate, your health won't suffer so much in years to come if you learn to laugh. Too much stress is dangerous. PS, if he DIDN'T post then he logged in after a long time just to vote, maybe others would agree thats strange. You are entitled to your opinion but it only being YOUR opinion doesn't make it right. Goodnight. |
| Forum Reply | ARQS at 20:57 2 Jan 2023
What, ARQS logged in and POSTED after the POTY. I must have missed that, what did he say? There was quite a gap between posts then. |
| Forum Reply | ARQS at 20:46 2 Jan 2023
When was ARQS last post on here? |
| Forum Reply | ARQS at 20:35 2 Jan 2023
No, I am saying it'd be odd for someone who apparently doesnt use the site anymore to log in just to vote. How is that observation obviously incorrect? I declined to take part in last years POTY too. You can try to stir pal, my ego can't be dented by not winning something I openly stated I didn't want to be in. Now I have better things to do than be caught in another debating equivalent of quicksand. I'll leave you to fester. |

I agree with Dr W and Tref. Over all it was still better than we have seen before Friday but it showed our lack of quality in depth. When Joe went off we were definitely worse, we lost some control and purpose. Piroe was sadly lacking, nothing he tried came off and we had no options. That, for me is why I'd bring Whittaker back. If Obafemi is outers and not coming back and Cullen is already playing we either need to bring in another striker or recall Whittaker AND use him. That free kick again, always causes us problems, we can do the pointless possession thing when we are 2-3 up but not when we're behind and we have to try something different now and then. Doing the same stuff over and over when it doesn't work is pointless. Part of our problem is, who do we have that will do something special to unlock defences. Where is our pace or speed of thought, it's all so pre-meditated and obvious.Alllen, Grimes and Fulton are a solid midfield but not really that creative. So I'll go back to a gripe I often bring up, we need proper wingers, people with pace capable of getting behind and causing trouble. |

A large part of my leave vote was because the EU is full of unelected people issuing edicts but also because we have quite enough corrupt politicians of our own without importing more. For me to change my vote the EU would have to reform to. |

Oh no, I don't want to be leader. The best place for me is always in a supporting role. Unlike those politicians in Westminster though, I wouldn't stab you in the back for my own, my reward really would be in a job well done. I would never crave a peerage, never take a bribe of any sort and never shit on the people I'm supposed to serve for my own benefit. I'll never make it in politics. |
