"Nathan Jones over-celebrated and showed disrespect post Cardiff victory" I don't believe it. |

"This is a man who absolutely, 1000%, closes the door of his “motor†with his foot. Minimum two mobile phones." Brilliant. I nearly spat my tea out when I read that. |

@qprbeth BOS does have 10 bookings but the booking against Sheff Weds was in the Cup which don't count towards a suspension in the league as they have been separated off and are competition specific. |

Andy King actually had two spells at Luton. He started there played there for two seasons (74-76) before signing for Everton. I didn't realise he'd died four years ago and was only 58. I remember being quite excited by his signing in 1980 as we signed him for a fair bit of money at the time (£425k) and quite surprised that we'd got him as he was dropping a division (absolutely unthinkable now). It never really worked out for him although he did okay his first season (6 goals when the top scorer only had 8) and I don't know if it was the plastic pitch or whether Venners didn't fancy him as a player seeing as he was a Docherty signing. |

That injury time Gary Penrice goal in 1994 is up there as one of all time fave moments watching the Rs. Never forget his little legs pumping away nineteen to the dozen trying to evade Bosnich's capture... |

That Gary Penrice goal in injury time against Villa in the 94/95 season is one my favourite ever moments watching the Rs at Loftus Road. I can still see his little legs pumping away as Bosnich vainly gave chase trying to catch him. Gerry's last but one game as boss before Marshgate. |

Thanks Clive for another season of exceptional work. Please keep it up. I did like your quote "to this day, means I pay £100 more a season than the person sitting five feet to my left" Reminds me of that scene in "Extras" (the David Bowie episode) where Andy and Maggie are supposedly sitting in the VIP area of the club but are sitting on the same bench seat as his agent and Barry from EastEnders only separated from them by one of those roped off partitions. |

@thehat That game you're referring to was the following season to Clive's memorable match. It was a midweek night game early in the season that was the start of four wins on the bounce that unbelievably led to Houston getting Manager of the Month for September! |
