| News Comment | When Patrick Agyemang won the league for QPR at 08:32:56
Fortunately we are contemplating these "what might have beens" as Football League Champions sitting on top of the league with no regrets, not from a nervous play-off position, wondering where we slipped up. Happy days. |
| News Comment | Possibly the greatest day of all time at 09:30:32
Do I read loftforwords as a "work avoidance" tactic? Absolutely. I also read it to get proper previews, and match reports that capture the atmosphere, as well as the action, of the games that I go to, and the games that I don't. What a season. Thanks for all that you write. Whenever I start to take it for granted, I just remind myself what it would be like relying on Twitter length reports in the Evening Standard and national press. By the way, was I the only idiot in the entire ground who took his seat not knowing that we were not going to be deducted points? The flags, the singing, the happy faces, and an overheard conversation led to a slow, wonderful, dawning realisation. Possibly the greatest day of all time? Certainly the greatest day I have ever witnessed at QPR, which is much the same thing. |
| News Comment | Thursday Diary — Warnock eyeing target, Leeds eyeing tickets at 16:29:40
With you there qprcanadabc. I was standing in the Paddock in 1983 vs Leeds the day that we won promotion. We were all allowed onto the (astroturf) pitch after the game, and Terry Venables was spraying champagne from the director's box. I trust that it will all be over, bar the shouting, by the time that we play Leeds this year. Come on you Rs. |
