| Forum Thread | Inexperienced Leadership at 06:27 26 Jan 2024
Williams - plucked from a well backed side 2 leagues below. Relegated a league 1 side where he wasn’t backed. No experience of leading a second tier club. A gamble? Certainly with where the club is currently at but early days. Needs to find a way to adapt to a better standard with a worse squad equivalent. Outscoring teams whilst freely conceding isn’t achievable with this group nor at this level. Needs backing in the market if we want to see successful WilliamsBall. His mouth seems to be ahead of his mind in interviews and he may blurt out his thoughts on this. Coleman - no experience in this sort of role. Claims he calls the shots but looking more of a fall guy for distant owners. Over credited for convincing a manager from 2 leagues below to join the club - who wouldn’t make that step up? Gude - no experience in this sort of role. Highly paid Coleman “advisor”? Watson - gone from a general operations title to a football operations role. Seems to lack PR awareness. The above should be around a table today followed by a cross Atlantic call to Levien requesting the ok to sort the defence and striker out. Maybe Saint Silverstein will show up for a big week, it’s been a while. |
| Forum Thread | The hard medicine finally being swallowed? at 21:58 2 Dec 2023
7 years of decline. ‘Next level’. Hard medicine?’ as the owners said a few years back. It’s been slowly diluted by selling the family silver. Multiple additions have been added to the random 27 or so in the first investment group. 20+ who’ve never stepped foot in Swansea. Another possible 20 since hiding behind a LLC in America. 7+ years of good players being flogged off to be downgraded for significant profits. None of which are properly reinvested in the squad. Loanees who aren’t up to scratch. If they are, we don’t see the long term benefit. Who’s left to sell? Wood? His value has dropped. Duff? No one is going to poach him and offer compo, the yank model is predictably hitting a wall and the club should be worried. It’s been coming without any obvious contingency. Piroe £10m for Yates £2.5m. What do they do when there’s no star to sell. |
| Forum Thread | Another Bank Loan? at 19:44 11 Aug 2022
Mellon Bank from the U S of A this time. A parting gift from Silverstein’s recent visit? The conversion clock is ticking. |
| Forum Thread | Dhanda at 21:53 31 Jan 2022
SSN reporting Dhanda was asked to take a pay cut to go out on loan to free up money for signings. No surprise he’s still here and not playing. Embarrassing. |
| Forum Thread | Did Martin realise they were a man down? at 20:11 8 Jan 2022
What was that all about? Playing keep ball against ten men. Manning was a threat down the left before the red card. Yet, Martin pushes him inside and sticks Obafemi on the touch line. Absolutely bizarre. We allowed Southampton to sit back and relax. Silverstein needs to get the American Express out and strengthen the defence before he jets back across the ocean. We are shipping bagfuls of goals and don’t have the skill set to play Martin ball from the back. |

Is mostly uncovered if I remember rightly. How are Concourse City FC going to cope tomorrow night? |
| Forum Thread | Next Manager - an assessment at 18:06 29 Jul 2021
Wilder - expensive, used to working with a decent budget, hot head, won’t be afraid to speak out - OUT. Eustace - OUT. Martin - still building his reputation, seems to view the job as a risk to his development, his team have their doubts without significant reassurance, compo - OUT. Tate - cheap, no experience in the transfer market/budgets, no compo, however may be viewed as too vocal for the yanks - POSSIBLE Toshack - cheap, but a previous critic of the yanks - OUT Terry - will want a more comfortable first managerial role - OUT Morris - cheaper than an established manager, never worked in the transfer market/big budgets, good contacts with youngsters/second chancers/loanees, not known for being disruptive, no compo - BEST FIT Key criteria - cheap to employ, no compo, no history of working with big budgets, links to youngsters/loanees/second chancers, a yes man. Otherwise a manager who’s been out of work for while desperate for a last shot. [Post edited 29 Jul 2021 18:11]

| Forum Thread | Coopers Anti Football at 21:04 20 Apr 2021
Why didn’t stubborn Steve stick with the shape after the convincing results against Millwall and Sheff Wed? Glaringly obvious that we’d finally found a shape where we could create and score goals. Instead he’s gone back to his boring anti football style, emphasis on defence and a totally pointless unbalanced midfield. He either doesn’t get it or is too stubborn to admit defeat. |
| Forum Thread | Ambition - is there any? at 08:23 21 Mar 2021
What a massive opportunity wasted. The chance to do the first double over a mid table Cardiff side at home. To be fair to Coops he went attacking. But at the same time, a cheap chancer signing playing his 6th ever start up top. In place of our marquee make fit striker signing who hasn’t scored in 14 games. Goes to show how this tactic of relying on Coopers contacts for short term gain in loans and cheap gambles isn’t going to result in long term gain. Brewster was key last season, but he benefited from that spell more than our club. 30 odd hedge funders who haven’t invested a penny in the playing side of things. What an absolute con. Next level said Huw, if that’s what he meant by losing the best ever chance at a derby double with barely a shot on goal then fair play to the man. |
| Forum Thread | £11m for Joe - at 17:39 16 Oct 2020
Who was it that said Silverstein’s cash injection would allow us to play hardball when it came to selling Joe? Bollocks. Yanks, Winter, Sellouts - fack off.

Rivers need not apply. |
| Forum Thread | Weaknesses at 08:18 15 Sep 2019
Forest did a number on us, credit where it’s due. They clearly identified the need to give us no time on the ball, and stopped us playing. However, our players were incredibly weak at times, letting Forest players almost bully us. Connor Roberts looked terrified of his man. Others panicked and made wild passes as soon as they were pressed. The alternative seemed to be going sideways or backwards. Fulton and Grimes need to make a mark in the middle, far too soft and almost naive. Top of the league we are going to get teams stepping up in games, we need to do the same in reply. We had very little success on the flanks, yet persisted with that tactic. We need to stick the boot in and look up a bit more next Saturday to stop the wurzels doing the same job on us. |
| Forum Thread | One positive from this transfer window at 18:14 31 Jan 2019
Fans are finally waking up and realising what crooks are running the club. Same goes for those who sold out to them, they are as much to blame. Disgraceful. |
| Forum Thread | Narsingh at 19:15 23 Sep 2018
Apparently there’ll be a six figure fee due to PSV if he makes another two appearances, hence why he’s being kept as far away from the first team as possible. |
