I suspect the actual attendance was higher than the official figure. When the Ellerslie Road gate was finally opened at 3:15 to let in the 1,000+ still outside, many [most?] walked through without being scanned. When we don't have a full house the most obvious empty space is in A block, but it was pretty full on Saturday.

A Bournemouth fan has been convicted for throwing a pie on to the pitch at Stamford Bridge on 19 December. He had a previous conviction for a similar offence in 2012.
Obviously a piethrowmaniac.
Why, in 2018, is a grown man throwing pies on to the Stamford Bridge pitch?

I found that flying with Iberia via Madrid (it doesn't add much to the flight time) was a LOT cheaper than flying direct with BA - ridiculous when you consider that BA & Iberia are part of the same company (IAG).
Beard did a lot of talking in the first 45 minutes, when the programme mainly focused on QPR.
One interesting snippet: the presenter sneeringly tried to say the the wage bill must be well over £50m ["It was £29m in your promotion season!"] - Beard said he was wrong. Very keen to emphasise that we are working to a plan and are well supported by the owners.
New ground - not explicit, but fairly clear that there will be nothing happening in the short term. I think he would be happy if we had a ground share.
