Personally I think yesterday's message should have been that we'll lose £1m in refunding season tickets, the players, Cooper and Birch have covered X% of that which leaves X hundred thousand and so we are asking fans to keep all/some of their money in to fund the rest. They could have 5 options whereby you get nothing, 1 game, 2 games, 3 games or 4 games back and equate that to a "reward" which gets better the more you keep in. Nobody wants to see the club go under or even have to sell a good player to make up the shortfall but it is galling in the extreme to be asked to forego the money when we've got players at the club earning millions, especially when they're doing nothing for it. It just seems like the fans are being taken for granted. |

I wonder whether he could have perhaps tried to "manage the finances" by looking a bit closer to home before he started guilt tripping the fans. Until the players, Birch and Cooper (whatever he's being paid, it's too much) take a share in this, they shouldn't expect the fans to. Ayew, Dyer, Routledge, Naughton and to a lesser extent VHD have earned astonishing money from this club during the good times. Perhaps now they can give something back whilst they're sat at home doing nothing. And, once they've done that, maybe then they can come to the fans. |

I hope the people still making an absolute fortune off the club take a big cut before they expect any goodwill from the supporters. Maybe some that have leeched off us for years should be the ones taking a financial hit before the fans do |

I honestly don’t think you can level much criticism at the players this season. The idiot(s) in the dugout though.... |

What hotel did you book in the end? |

Valencia aside, I always associate the league cup final with the wheels starting to come off |

To be fair that night was the Daniel James show |

He doesn’t even switch him to number 10 during games. I don’t for the life of me understand why Cooper refuses to pick one of our better players last season in the position he actually played really well in. People are criticising Celina this season but they’d have enough to say about Cooper if Rodon was playing poorly at left back |

I think Rangel will make a good manager too personally. He seems to have a lot about him as well as a bit of a nasty/ruthless streak. |

No chance will we miss out by 3/4 points. I think it’ll be closer to 15/16 by the end of the season. |

It was definitely worth a shot. I don’t think anyone should be criticised for the appointment as it seemed to make sense. Ultimately though, he’s got nothing about him whatsoever. |

Do you not think there’s anyone better out there than Steve Cooper? Who did you want in the summer? |

It’s not his job to find and appoint a manager is it? [Post edited 14 Feb 2020 23:27]

Well he’s not ready for us either based on the last few games. |

Well why’s he been playing over Cabango and Wilmot in recent weeks then? If he’s not ready like? |

He looks like he may have the physical attributes to be fair but his positioning and concentration is embarrassing |
