@joey7barton @Joey7Barton: No matter what happens next year. I have enjoyed this experience. Nobody can ever take that away from me. Looking forward to the future...
Is that the first sign we could be seeing him back in a rangers shirt next season? I know the guys a complete turd but he's a good footballer and I'd welcome him back all day long. Grit, steel, determination and literally some fight in him. He's what we need to steel up our midfield and get us back up!!
See if we can do a deal with Marsielle, two for the price of none and give them malteaser head back
Well Joey you might have to leave your lovely south of France home and your cushty Riviera lifestyle and come back to West London. Well as Johnny puts it....
The more i think about Barton the more i think i would welcome him back. He was probably fuming as the club was being run so badly by Hughes and people like Boswankor turning up late for training and pulling Tonys pants down.He has played well this year and could do well for us next year, think Harry needs to cool him down but put him as captain and get him to show what he is capable of

It's true to say that his misdemeanours have paled beside the antics of this season's spineless bozos. Still not sure though.
Just read the report from Marseille and it sounds like he is preparing to leave Marseille. Primarily, because he's had no indication from QPR to the contrary. You can read into that what you will. My take, is that he is still contracted to us. Harry said he could be useful, but came across as non commital.
I very much doubt we want the baggage that he brings. If he returns to L'OM, who want to keep him, he'll get the chance to play in the Champions League, instead of the Championship. From a football career point of view that must suit him, even if he has to take a cut in wages. I can't really see us demanding a fee. Surely we'd just want to get his wages off the books. Can see a deal being done that suits both parties.
