Thought he was brilliant yesterday,he was everywhere, taking players on, often with three defenders round him.

The difference yesterday was our best player was an attacking wing back and there's was a scoring Midfielder.

Agree Grumps. I think our strongest full back pairing is KWP at RB and can’t believe I’m saying this but Manning at LB
I think Manning has shown a really good attitude and is probably one of the players playing at the peak of his ability

I agree, grumpy. He was, by far and away, our best player. I was beginning to doubt him after a few lacklustre performances under Martin, but the new manager seems to have inspired him.

I'd like to ask KWP and a few other players about the real truth regarding their feelings about Martin and his methods.
And how they feel about the arse kissing arrogant clown Stephens.

Agreed

Round pegs in round holes.
Manning on the left

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Yes, whatever happened? He was good, wasn't he? One of the few experienced top flight defenders we had, with more than 160 Premier League games under his belt.

Clearly a big fall-out with the narcissistic ex-manager.

He’s an old school Left Back.
Can’t ask him to get up and down the wing.
Lack of pace.
Still would have something to offer off the bench if we ever took a lead to hold on to it.

I agree, KWP technically good on the ball & a threat going forward but an absolute liability defending.(that's why he's still here with us, other clubs have sussed out his weaknesses)
I'm very surprised that we've never tried playing him in midfield or even on the wing.
We wouldn't have to worry about his defending then.

Bree rb and kwp in front of him , manning on the left .

Crossing for the big man to nod a few in .

And at last we are actually trying long throws!

Used to phuck me off we would get a throw level with the 18 yard line and we would pass it back to McCarthy or lose it .

Great that we are more direct , we just need to score and tall paul needs a long run of games

keep the faith coyr
