Bottom half - competitive or rubbish? 18:32 - Dec 9 with 1082 views | Stocktake | First time poster-usual long time lurking. Never been a regular at games for various reasons but lucky(?) enough to been there at the 82 cup final replay, the 86 milk cup quarter in the shed end. Robinson’s goal was one life’s best moments , the Oldham play off semi and the Cardiff final. Back to the thread title, I’ve been musing that the bottom half teams look more competitive this year. It’s seems to be a minority view on here, but I can’t see any makeweights except may be Plymouth. Favourite cheese - Stilton or anything mouldy .
Bottom half - competitive or rubbish? on 19:15 - Dec 9 with 918 views | davman | Welcome. The Championship is full of utter slop save 3-4 teams totally bankrolled by parachute payments from the Big Cash League. The bottom half is full of teams whose goal every game is to be less shite than their shite opposition. Fair? [Post edited 9 Dec 23:31]

Bottom half - competitive or rubbish? on 20:38 - Dec 9 with 799 views | Stocktake | Yeah, fair. There’s also usually one of the top half teams that drops like a stone. Hopefully be the same this year
Bottom half - competitive or rubbish? on 20:42 - Dec 9 with 779 views | Lanhoop | It may be competitive but there’s not much quality. Amazingly, with Sheff Utd top only one team have gone to them and scored and come away with a point. Everyone else has lost and failed to score. Wonder which team that was?

Bottom half - competitive or rubbish? on 23:16 - Dec 9 with 599 views | Lblock | The Championship epitomises competitive rubbish doesn’t it? This is where we’ve come a cropper I can see reasons why every signing made was done but the child forgot “the blend”. We needed another clogger of a striker, a marauding animal at left back and pace in the middle with those three not scared of getting or giving stud marks The unpredictability of a team like ours bagging a 2-2 at Bramall Land or a 3-0 at home to a form team is what makes this level interesting The fine line between top n bottom is goals and strikers; same as most levels. That is a huge concern. Should we remarkably get another result on Wednesday then I’d say the bottom half is blown wide open. Follow that up with the pure sex of a three win week at Brizzle and it’s in the mix then. Who knows? So my answer to your question is yes to both
| Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal |

Exactly - and I'd say the standard is even worse this year. You need to be REALLY bad to get relegated this season.
