I think we need a creative midfielder first, before another striker. God love him, Cooper is a trier but just that - a solid, hard-working pro.
Someone like Sigurdsson, Paterson, Celina, Jordi Gomez - someone who can make something out of nothing in the middle of the park is what we are desperately missing. |  | | |

I'm sure it was said by some that Obafemi was leading Pato astray when he was here, it looked to be true once Obafemi left as Pato seemed to settle down obviously not then, we have missed him though he had a decent season last season. |  |

I’d disagree with that.
Reach is an upgrade on Tymon who is also a decent left back. But that apart you need competition for places with depth to the squad. To cover injury and suspension too. That brings out the best in players. Our squad is a bit lightweight in terms of cover and competition.
Of course we need a proven forward we know that but we need players like Reach. Sounds like we couldn’t agree terms. That’s concerning as I doubt he’d want too much. Same for Christie. Two good players. | |

In fact that was his contract for three years.
The facts speak for themselves, our pay structure doesn’t even compete, and I doubt he would accept 6k a week which is the average offer for new contracts since Ronald joined. Pretty certain they wouldn’t break that for Adam Reach.
We don’t pay a lot, ask Liam Cullen.
