To be honest at that age he should be loaned out to League Two clubs at worst. We’ve seen too many of these so called starlets being loaned to non-league and lower non-league at that and the simple truth is that they are not good enough hence the cull this last summer. Look at Drewe now, he has gone to Oxford City because that is his level. Kakay can’t find a club at all. And any other kid that has been released has struggled to find a club. Need to be honest with these kids. If Tuck doesn’t stand out in these three months at Enfield then that is a big indicator of his future.

Tuck is only just 18, whereas Drewe, Pedder etc were still being loaned out at 21 +.
It's for 3 months to get some mens football experience. I imagine in January he'll be loaned out again to higher league team, if he has done well.

At that age..18? The lad was only promoted to the dev squad last yr and he should be walking into a L1/L2 club starting lineup? If he was, he'd be on our bench today.

Just a taste of men's football for an 18yr old kid, probably more for mental toughness than actual football development. Fine by me. If he's still at that level end of next season then it'd be concerning, as for now let him develop and see how he grows.

He will have to make a huge difference to Enfierld Town if they are outside the relegation places when his loan finishes!

40 years ago we were sticking in teenagers of the likes of Allen, Goddard, Waddock, Neill, Dawes, Macca etc against Division 1 and 2 sides. But they were good enough. Nothing about building up their physicality although I suppose that they had the advantage of cutting their teeth in the Football Combination.
