Mn Utd Game Matchday Thread on 09:43 - Sep 14 with 3627 views | Bridders2 | Will he change it? And by how much? If he doesn’t he's 2 games Ipswich and Bournemouth to turn it around. After that he's toast.
Mn Utd Game Matchday Thread on 10:22 - Sep 14 with 3602 views | dirk_doone | I'm setting off for the game soon, still hoping that we can pull off a shock victory. If we field Amo-Ameyaw and Dibling together, we might conjure up a goal or two, as that combination could take United by surprise. Of course, if our sideways and backwards passing in our own half continues, we're more likely to see United score. I'll be clapping for Elijah on 20 minutes. Wouldn't it be great if we scored then? Mn Utd Game Matchday Thread on 11:47 - Sep 14 with 3375 views | City_boy | Is Smallbone injured ? Not even on bench, not that I am complaining. He has dropped 3 of the regulars, but still found a slot for his favourite, Jack Stephens.

Mn Utd Game Matchday Thread on 12:11 - Sep 14 with 3300 views | Flamingbankers | That's almost the side I would have picked but I would have played 4-4-2 with THB at centre back, without Stephens and with KWP at left back. With Dibbling, Fernandes and Okuchukwa that should make quite a difference.

He looked so nervous. It looked like no one want to take the penalty

Mn Utd Game Matchday Thread on 13:22 - Sep 14 with 2896 views | MattFinish | I’m happy with the way we’ve played and lined up but the penalty miss turned the half It’s clear from his stats that Archer was never going to answer our striker problem Get him off and get Stewart on

Agree, he didn't look comfortable. I am in the Shearer school of penalties, just whack it. If you can't do that, try and avoid placing it 1m from the keeper ! Awful penalty and game changer. All said, there are lots of positives. We are not messing around with it in our own box inviting trouble. Ramsdale has played really well, with 3 top saves. Finally, why am I seeing Man U shirts in Saints stands, but couldn't get a ticket for this game ? This really needs sorting. [Post edited 14 Sep 13:29]

Yep. Everything working well. Tactics good, players giving their all, good chances. Then one of our players misses a penalty. The players get despondent and they go and score. We will struggle to score because they simply can't, against top defences and goalkeepers, they arnt good enough. That penalty sums it up really.

But everything was working. We were creating chances. Archer scores and it's a different game. It's Archers fault, he should have scored and then it's one nil Saints.
