Covid contracts worth £15bn had corruption ‘red flags’, 22:54 - Sep 11 with 2639 views | majorraglan | An article appeared in a couple of the Nationals this week following an investigation by Transparency International UK The study has uncovered corruption “red flags” in government Covid contracts worth more than £15bn – representing nearly one in every three pounds awarded by the government during the pandemic. The review of more than 5,000 contracts across 400 public bodies identified 135 high-risk contracts with a value of £15.3bn where it is claimed an investigation is merited due to the identification of THREE ( not 1 or 2 but 3) or more corruption red flags. At least 28 contracts, worth £4.1bn, went to those with known political connections to the Conservative party. This amounts to almost a tenth of the money spent on the pandemic response. Fifty-one contracts, worth £4bn, went through the “VIP lane” of which 24, worth £1.7bn, were referred by politicians from the Conservative party or their offices. £1bn was spent on personal protective equipment from 25 VIP-lane suppliers that was later deemed unfit for use. Eight contracts, worth £500m, went to suppliers that were no more than 100 days old. The UK government awarded more than £30.7bn in high- value contracts without competition – equivalent to almost two-thirds of all Covid contracts by value. The Department of Health and Social Care wrote off £14.9bn in public money over a two-year period – equivalent to the government’s total spend on personal protective equipment. Starmer should insist on a full investigation with every effort made to address wrong doing. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13827585/More-5-000-contracts-15-billio

Covid contracts worth £15bn had corruption ‘red flags’, on 16:45 - Sep 15 by SullutaCreturned | Those studies, all the people that got cancer, can I assume they'd had covid AND the vaccine (at least one) before the stud happened? If so then I'd like to see the studies and see why they areso sure it was covid and not the vaccines that caused a problem. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an anti vaxxer but I am asking the question in the knowledge that medicines can sometimes do harm. That I am certain of because it happened to myself, a blood pressure medication damaged my liver, it was spotted just in time, another few months and it would have been too late. So while I am not saying vaccines are bad per se, I am saying there is a chance they could cause probems when they are rushed out quickly without the years of testing they normally go through. Did the vaccines save lives, yes definitely, could they have caused issues, yes they could have. I'm also not saying it's just vaccines, modern life in general is very unhrealthy and it could be a combination of circumstances. Look at all the chemicals in foodstuffs. What happens when all these chemicals are swirling around in our bodies alongside the medicines? It is also a medical fact that a combination of medicines that are safe by themselves can react with other medcines and be harmful. We can hardly say almost 15 illion doses were given without incident and just because the authorities won't accept any issues, it doesn't mean that they OR the big pharma companies are telling the truth. We have evidence for them lying in many other cases. |
Modern life sees people smoking Christ knows what in a vale, with 1 in 4 people obese 25% of the population.,when there are limitless advice avenues to stop cholesterol rising ,and BP down . Yet, we see kids of ten with what looks like ale guts . It shames us However, they can’t ve called “ fat” as it offends and upsets them. Fat people often take a perverse pleasure in their fullness of body ,when they should feel shame Shame as many in the world do not have enough to eat and it’s 2024. 2024 ffs. I’ve lost my drift now

What vague stuff? I could go into every detail but this forum would be the wrong place to do that. I've read some of your posts recently and you are on the right track, whether you can accept the enormity of it all is a different matter. Most can't [Post edited 16 Sep 8:11]

If knowing exactly what is and has been going on this world for the last few decades makes me a fruit loop then I'll wear the hat. Personally I'd reserve that insult for those that believe everything they get told my MSM.Government etc. Fruit loop

Very few people believe everything they're told by government and the MSM. Most people think for themselves to at least some degree, although follow the bias of the media they read. I'm a scientist. I need to see evidence for everything I'm told, see and read. You don't usually have to look too far. You seem to believe a tiny portion of far right propaganda spewed on the strangest parts of the internet purely because it's different. I don't think you really understand it or have seen any evidence for what you're told. You don't think for yourself. I think that makes you a bit of a fruit loop.

An outrageous response even by your standards !! "Very few people believe everything they're told by government and the MSM" You only have to go back a couple of years to debunk that nonsense, covid showed how easily led people are by MSM and the government. I saw very little evidence of people thinking for themselves with the exception of those that saw through the whole shamozzle. When you say far right propaganda, I assume you are referring to those of us that were previously demonised with other equally pathetic conversation stoppers like 'conspiracy theorists' 'misinformation spreaders' 'murderers' 'cookers' yada yada Yes I have different viewpoints, it's my prerogative, but unlike in previous years where we could discuss and debunk in a civil manner, we are now so close to the truth that there is no debate to be had. You either do or say as your told or your demonised/cancelled/jailed (delete as applicable) for asking questions. Dangerous times

You see that's just more than of the same isn't it? Let's have some evidence for Covid being a "shamozzle". The restrictions clearly served the purpose that they were intended for. The people didn't stand for the behaviour of the government at the time and we saw the result of that in July. No most conspiracy theories in the west stem from the far right, and it's clearly your political position as you're an antisemite. It's how they work, they target people's inate insecurities. Just look at the "success" of Qanon, it's grouped all conspiracy theories together in one place and the host of Q's drops has made millions. It's clearly bollocks. But can be indirectly traced back to Evangelists in the states. I'm happy to debate any topic, but you need something to substantiate your claims. All you seem to say is "your close to the truth" you've been banging this drum for years, how much closer can we get? When will this truth be revealed?

Covid was a shamozzle, we got nothing but lies from western governments across the world. Biggest transfer of wealth in history. Not sure if you've forgotten but whilst most were locked up doing what they were told, the governments were having parties all over the country, laughing at the likes of you. Most so called conspiracy theories during the Rona years have now been proved to be true, and please don't tar me with the same brush as Q or Qanon whatever they call themselves, a bunch of jokers as far as I'm concerned. I'm not anti semite at all (I take people on face value) but what I do know is those who are responsible for all the evil/shite going on this world are of a certain kind. It's not difficult when you think of who owns the majority if not all of the media, judicial system etc. If you really were as clever as you pretend to be on here, you'd know all this!! With no disrespect to fruit loops around the world ,you are not . You post for effect ,to be “ controversial” ,to go against the grain and that’s fine . What you do not know is anything re,preludes exact about world events . You see them unfold on television then offer a comment . We all do. Eat more fruit

Partygate cost the govenrment at the time their entire political future, and finished the tories as a political force for generations - and only 50% of the people bothered to vote. What conspiracy theories during covid have proven to be true? You are an antisemite, as that sentence demonstrates.

That they were laughing at us is probably right but it didn’t and doesn’t make it right We should have been locked down earlier and harder and the cretins refusing to wear a face mask dealt with . Mental health was used then as an excuse not to wear a mask. Not wearing one coat many lives as did lack of distance control
