The easiest way to become a millionaire is still being a billionaire and buying a football club. |
Of course people would respect that......either way it will create moaning and groaning but atleast they are being honest. I have no doubt they will get the players in but it certainly doesn't reflect well on them in regards to what they said and declared they would do. One thing that can't be thrown on the fans lap is the club are just telling us things to please us.......that is morally wrong and certainly untrustworthy. People need to learn and learn quick.

People wouldn't respect it at all. Jesus Christ, how can anyone spend more than ten minutes on social media and forums like this and think even for a split second that the fanbase would be OK with club ownership playing down their chances of signing the players that they want?
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I would say people would respect honesty. Moaning and groaning with the reality for sure. There in lies the issue, we need to filter the players we would like to sign and highlight the players we are capable and have a better chance in signing from our extensive list that our scouting team have worked so hard on.......otherwise we are wasting money on a scouting network who are not working within the clubs reality. We need to think outside the box rather than wasting our time going down dead ends(Ott) and players we have little to no chance in signing when competing with teams like Sheff Utd(Campbell). It stinks of bad planning, then creates lines from the top to give themselves breathing space and false promises.

Swansea City The genuine facts on this summer’s transfer problems. on 22:48 - Aug 17 with 469 views | vetchonian | folks have short memories under our previous ownership we had a tight fiscal policy with wage caps...and "sensible" transfer fee spend. We wouldnt pay the money to make Jordi Gimez permanent It was only when we got to the Prem things changed. Moan as much as we like at the end if the day we as a club cannot adford to get into serious debt. Our acquisitions such as Ronald and thise signed to daye this window are typical of what was the "Swansea Way" back then. Maybe initially talks indicated Campbell was happy with terms we would offer...but then others get involved who knows. As has been said here it seems the Providence deal has stalled as his club have moved the goalposts... Also income has dropped with 5000 ish less season tickets sold which will also mean in reduction to potential match day spend...on the concourse or shop. Not huge amounts of revenue but enough to impact on profitability and Sustainability rules. If our previous owners who were fans with an emotional attachment to the club were "tight fisted" at times why do we aleays expect the curretnt owners who have no emotional attachment to the club to just keep chucking money in Maanagers have been backed ...Martin certainly was up until he didnt play his must haves Fisher and Darling .. .we mispent a fortune 12 months ago ... We are allowed to moan yes but so far we have found some gems at low cost problem is they are hard to find.

It’s the desire for the premier league, nothing else matters.
