When we were relegated in 2018 - Leon claimed it would take up to 4 seasons in the Championship for the club to be ready for the Premier League again.

I agree Luther 27 never felt this bad about a new season. I was at Fulham we lost 7 nil fa cup and they league below us. Thing I find hard if I say wow squad great I be attacked saying that. I happy just to stay up due money we pay for our squad. But the league is spilt in three the teams with money the owners with money ie stoke and us Plymouth and Derby lack quality in their squad | | | |

Let’s give him a chance - we still have a few weeks left before the window closes. If they can unearth some more gems like Eom we will be fine.
They are attempt to fix a very flawed transfer strategy which for years brought us the likes of Paterson and Walsh. At least we’re aiming for the right age group in a more value for money market. | | | |

He’ll yes…I remember how I felt after that defeat. Game yesterday has had enough said about it….and I’m living by the second half performance which was better than the first but still crap.

Depends what "supporting him" means.
If it means signing only the exact players that Cooper wanted then it's true. He wasn't supported.
You could argue that Cooper shouldn't have been such a baby and done what plenty of other managers have done in the past and made the best out of what the club was able to provide.
Then again, if he was the kind of manager capable of that then maybe Forest wouldn't have signed 20 odd players to try and please him and breached FFP rules in the process. |  |

Cooper like Potter at Chelsea had players thrust onto him by on owner that thought he knew better, its difficult to build an ethos into a team with so many different options and personnel to keep happy, those owners totally unbalanced the whole team, both were doomed to fail under those circumstances.
