Swansea City v Rio Ave : Match day friendly on 16:17 - Aug 3 by cadleigh | Groundhog Day. Endless passing between midfield and defence until the 'keeper is closed down and makes an error. Very lucky not to be 2-1 down. |
Simply puts pressure on ourselves No need It's suicide I want a coach to stop this madness We can be a force again

Thought Josh Thomas did well by injecting extra energy that contributed to the late goal. RP wasn't flashy but had two assists (I think). May be worth consideration. [Post edited 3 Aug 17:11]

Swansea City v Rio Ave : Match day friendly on 17:01 - Aug 3 with 1745 views | Fireboy2 | Didn't see much of the feed I purchased but when I did from the 75th we looked good with grimes playing further up the pitch. Thanks to all have posted who watched and went, you can actually comment on what you see 😉
Swansea City v Rio Ave : Match day friendly on 17:05 - Aug 3 with 1706 views | cadleigh | Fair play, there were some good passages of play there, JT showed a lot of promise during his fairly brief time on the pitch, as did RP, and Grimes and Naughton took their goals really well. Eom looks like a good addition to the squad too. And Vigy inspires confidence. All that passing backwards worries me though. Fingers crossed Williams has a master plan and the new recruits bed in quickly. [Post edited 3 Aug 17:07]

Swansea City v Rio Ave : Match day friendly on 16:01 - Aug 3 by Treforys_Jack | Another season and Fulton and Grimes paired together !!! Franco and Eom look a step up I'm class to be fair. Think it's a good workout to be fair. Not sure on the keeper tbh, I'm the other end of the ground but he didn't look like he came for a few crosses and corners, maybe I'm being overly harsh. |
Not sure how that pans out with Ronald available. Do we play Eom a few yards ahead of Grimes and Franco? He looked skilful enough to play at #10. I thought Abdulai did well on both sides. Would be happy with him and Ronald out wide. Allen, Grimes and Franco would be a great option if we played with a flatter 3 like today, but obviously depends on Allens availability.

Swansea City v Rio Ave : Match day friendly on 19:43 - Aug 3 with 943 views | Treforys_Jack | Abdulai looks like he's going to a real player for us this season. Eom and Franco both look like class acts as well. ,but definitely concerned about our GK, wasn't comfortable trying to play out, seemed to try and force it when it wasn't on. Very Fisheresque tbh

Just realised you missed most of the game. He just looks extremely confident, perhaps overconfident and very relaxed. Very happy to dribble past an attacker or play a short risky pass under pressure. It did actually work a couple of times, as he helped us pass through a press and move it forward efficiently.

I thought he was too comfortable if that makes sense? Agree with the rest of it. I thought Eom and Abdulai were our best players.
