Honouring ex Saints 19:30 - May 28 with 1588 views | Heisenberg | Thinking about who should be honoured with a statue or stand name would love to see one for Ron Davies. I don’t think I ever saw a better header of the ball and in his day he was profilic. Terry Paine crossing one over for Ron to head home remains a boyhood memory. Anyone else ? Le Tiss of course.

I would love to see a statue to Lawrie. Apart for his triumph in 1976 against United,he managed teams that bought some of the best football I have ever seen played by Saints.

His contribution to this club has long been undervalued by the clubs supporters

Yes,… but statues usually commemorate the dead. How about a Masonic temple ?!👍

You dont always have to be dead to have a statue

Never undervalued by me Nick. He was a fantastic manager for us. He took us to places in the league and made us a force to be reckoned with and we were respected and loved by many for the type of football he instilled. Players came to us that would not normally had done so. He has never been matched in my view. I think Adkins drew the similar respect but was not given the chance to see it through. Koeman gave us hope for a short while. But McMenemy. There has been no one else quite like him at the club.
