Yesterday I was walking around Málaga in my Rs walk on top. In the restaurant where we went for lunch some guy says "4-0 last night". Turns out they were a family from Belgium who had been at the Preston game the week before and totally loved the experience. Loved the atmosphere at LR. Showed me their photos with all the players etc.
When I left the restaurant the son shouted U Rs. It was a lovely moment to follow up Friday night.

Replying to myself...confirmation of inclusion on the old timers thread! But, my daughter just returned and informs me she was watching the game when some lads walked in and she spotted the tat. Informing him her dad was a fan, he replied he was an S/T holder and pissed off to be missing the game. He also thought she was taking the pee and asked if she was winding him up? She took out her phone and showed him a pic of my grandson sat in his buggy outside my house; "look above Tommy's head",she said. He got a real surprise to see a Rangers flag flying over the porch.

Was at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary in Uganda in early 2023, not wearing any QPR shirts but got talking to our wildlife guide who randomly knew every last detail about QPR as his English club - and watched as many games as he could. He had an encyclopaedic knowledge of QPR and much of English football. Incredible. |  | | |

Oddest one of the many that have happened to me: I'm on way into the showers after a particularly sweaty cardio session in my gym in Yangon, Myanmar.
With just a towel around me, the new manager walked in as he was doing the rounds, conversation ensued and after establish our west London credentials, I asked him who he supported. You're clever people, you know what he said next.
Latest one: Mrs PH and I were in a framing shop in the town where we live in France. She's parlezing away to the server, whose husband appears to discuss the work. He's originally from Northolt...you know what happens next! |  |
