Is the right answer. | |

.....and when jobs are lost at the DVLA, HMRC. How are they replaced? The Barnett Formula, where will we replace the lost income? What do we sell, water. It absolutely pisses down in the North West of England also. Its a pipe dream but I've no doubt some pro Welsh Nat intellectual has written a paper on how it will all work out. Yeah! Another thing, once Labour get in after the next election, which they will, you will find pro independence will drop off. Just like what happened in Catalonia after the Partido Popular were voted out of Spanish government'. Indies tend to be more left leaning. [Post edited 20 May 2023 19:23]

Between six and seven thousand turned up today, great effort by all, but lasting image I will take from this rally is the yes cymru flag proudly flying from the flats development opposite the rally end at the National waterfront Meseum. Even Liz Savile Roberts commented on it.

Swansea city centre on 18:47 - May 20 by cockett_jack | âSwansea is an indie cityâ massive LOL. I think we take more to away games than in that tweet. There are no unionist marches in Swansea because it isnt needed. As said above barely a few thousand in a city with a population of roughly a quarter of a million and you know a fair chunk marching wonât be from Swansea. Let the nationalists get their hopes up whilst the unionists donât lose any sleep. |
Old Swansea massively Anglo Apart from outlying valleys Most more concerned about having as good living as possible and if that means within UK speaking English fine Welsh people are too smart , as a whole, to fall into this sheeite

Swansea is now an Indy city. ðŸÂ´ó Â§ó Â¢ó Â¡ó Âó Â³ó Â¿â¤︠The people have spoken. |
Yes the people have spoken, about 1% of the people. It doesn't make Swansea an indy city any more than 6000 people going to the Ospreys means rugby is more popular than football. More hyperbolic nonsense from you, nothing changes. Do the maths twpsyn

What time do you reckon the were tat many there because when I was in town and passing the museum the place looked pretty sparse. 6-7000 is and pretty enthusiastic claim, how did you come by that number, were there turnstyles or a head count?

There's a long, illustrious history of inflating the numbers of people who turn up for this stuff. I remember one in North Wales a couple of years ago which had a mooted 10,000 attendance but barely hit 2,000 according to the Police.

So a great day out in Swansea city centre is some disparate punters dreaming of what would be Armageddon Great day out. My God, Not that long ago, people came from miles around into Swansea to visit our shops which were plentiful and of quality whist the men often went mooching around the car showrooms . Then to one of the many picture houses Fforestfach and Manselton had them with the Welfare and the Manor

Funnily enough I went to a show in the arena last week, there was a bloke on the bridge handing out leaflets, for today. At the end of the night they littered the floor like confetti. Remind us again what part of Swansea you live in?

Great day when all the redundancies are handed out at the DVLA. Honestly they are a bunch of fantasists! Quite a few Socialist Worker placards amongst them so I'm told. [Post edited 21 May 2023 8:10]

7000 wow! In a city the size of Swansea and the surrounding area. Marching for something which would be seismic shift in our constitution and which the majority of Welsh voters are against. However you are entitled to your opinion, just as others are entitled to theres.

Morning Togg. Indy supporters, like most agitators are loud, they have to be ,otherwise people wonât notice them. I grew up in old Swansea as did my parents . It was always massively English speaking and the thought of breaking away from the Union unthinkable. The town attracted many â immigrantsâ from England âŚthe hatedâŚand this had a direct affect on future generations . Growing up in Swansea ,CRdiff and Newport is utterly removed from those in Cardigan,Builth, Caernarfon and remote villages . Swansea is basically a big collection of industrial villages where men worked hard in industry and women ran the home .It was all about having a better future ,a more certain future and not one where yiu walk into a possible abyss. Anyway,Iâm looking at my warts now
