Back to back wins before this current run were in November
September to October we also had a run of 8 games gaining 20 points from 24.
But,
21 games in between those rums gave us 15 points from 63.
As predicted, once we won a few games Martin would be hailed as the messiah by some (many who wanted him out in February) but he isn’t.
A broad pattern shows this is Martin's way, some decent runs with appalling results between and good end of seasons.
Average points per game

Swansea 1.34
He has a vision, he can’t make it work (Kompany can) so he changes approach, wins points, reverts to vision until pragmatism is needed to turn fortunes around. I appreciate what he is trying to do and apart from a handful of goals the 'tippy tappy' approach has led to fewer goals being conceded than the up and at 'em, gung ho approach some fans demand. Yes, something between is ideal.
MK Dons finished 19th and 13th when he was manager they had won promotion the season before his appointment and third the season after his appointment!
