Footballers with loads a money seem prone to this don’t they .
It's the old thing of wanting what they cannot have, money and fame will be able to give a person almost anything they want. In my opinion it is a factor in why so many footballers, celebrities etc end up committing crimes like this and others.... Johnson etc...

"duty to stop the case" following the "withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light".
A police social media trawl, private messages from mobiles and other undisclosed material will have a huge bearing on investigations like this. Sadly people lie, they also put these trials in jeopardy by talking shit to each other, not disclosing things they should, the list is endless. In some cases it doesn’t mean the defendant is innocent of the charges, but as I said people are thick, and can’t help themselves.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
