Do you ever get the feeling… on 18:38 - May 22 by Rangersw12
It was a great final day full of twists and turns
Yes but ultimately it ended (top and bottom) exactly how everyone thought it would… I got slightly excited when City went 2-0 down but as soon as they made it 2-1 I knew exactly what was coming… left at that point to water the garden.

I know almost nothing about the Premier League even though I try to catch the big games every now and then at the end of the season. But I will say this, Queens Park Rangers is just a fukking sick ass team name. Just sounds so cool.

It was a great final day full of twists and turns
In the early days of Sky Sports you had three teams at the top and they played spread out on different days/times over the weekend and by Monday night they were in the same places they started off the weekend as because each team won. Yet Sky Sports whipped themselves into a frenzy over the weekend saying how great it was and how the lead at the top had changed three times. No, it hadn’t really.
I knew then it was just going to be a circus.

Last time Liverpool came from a goal down to beat Wolves 3-1 on the final game of the season was 1976 when they pipped us to the title. Of course it happened before Sky so you won't hear about it. They won't refer back any further than Augerooooooooooooooooo

Becoming like the Scottish prem same few teams win the league fa and league cups. The rest stick mid table or relegation battle. Quite embarrassing Everton fans celebrating staying up as if they are champions.

Come on LFW contributors. The season started in August and the title was not decided until the last 15 minutes of the final day, in May. Sky have every reason to be delighted by the way that it all played out. I enjoyed this afternoon so much that, at the end, Mrs Kernowhoop said that for the good of my health, I should have a lie down.

Sort of relieved City managed to turn the match around in the last 15 minutes from 2 down as it may finally shut them the f*ck up on TV going on about 2011? Probably not, though.

Not quite last week of the season in 1976 was it. Didn’t Liverpool gain special dispensation form the League to allow them play Wolves after the regular season had ended, with the extra advantage of knowing exactly what was required to pip us to the title.

One of the reasons why I was fuming how that game ended as I just knew Sky would never shut up about it as the greatest ending ever in the history of the game. Every damn year we get reminded about it.
I hope today's events will now replace us so Villa fans get 10 years of reminders of how they blew it late on.

I thought it was a brilliant final day, I know we like to turn our noses up at the premier league but that was brilliant today.
City bottling it and going 2 down then turning it around. Liverpool struggling to beat Wolves but keeping the title race going until the last minute. Leeds staying up with a last minute goal. Even 4th place went to the last day.

They'll shut up about it eventually, they don't show the early years of the premiership because of the passion of the fans makes the current season look two Bob. They don't like to highlight the damage they've done to Football and those scenes only show how much passion have gone out of OUR GAME

Premiership?
It’s the Premier League the Premiership is the highest level of English rugby union.
It was called the premiership and that was far better than the premier league but still not as iconic as The First Division. Barclays decided to call it the premier league in 2001.
I really couldn't care less what they call themselves

Leeds were safe with a draw.

I know it was before football was invented in 1992, but the Aguero thing is not even close to Michael Thomas at Anfield in 89 to win it for Arsenal.
One was a massively expensive team just about scraping a home win against a poor, relegation threatened opponent who were down to ten men and half of them had switched off knowing they were safe.
The other ended a long period of Liverpool domination by going to Anfield having to win by two goals, doing it and doing it in the last minute. They won it back the next year but didn't see it again for almost 30 years.
