RIP

I saw him play Whiter Shade at the Albert Hall with the British Rock Symphony in 1999.

It was amazing, raised the neck hairs. He was playing the massive AH organ and the BBC box was right next to it.

Deerrrrr der der....

For me, there aren't many songs that spark 60s nostalgia more than Whiter Shade of Pale. Sad to see him go.

RIP Gary - that's sad news. I'm a huge PH fan and he was one of the best singers in the pop/rock world.
The Well was a super album and a real return to form.
I Googled him just now, and when I put in Gary, Gary Barlow came up. What a world.

Sad news. He had a great voice and I really like a lot of Procol Harum's stuff. RIP Gary 🙁
