I think Saturday will be a case of just checking my phone for updates. Anyway, I'm going for us to make it six points out of six, with a narrow, hard-fought 2-1 victory. Willock and Chaz.

The 'Two days early, very busy weekend', Preston match thread on 19:30 - Sep 30 with 7480 views | Discodroids | I really hate Preston. Whenever they roll up at Loftus road for their 3 points, they've been the 5th dan shaolin monks of high sensei shithousery. Thus, i'm about as impartial and even handed in my judgement of this match as a Zanu PF generalissimo charged up on a couple of grams of powdered rhino horn on election night. to increase my vexation, jo's been in Malaga for the past 4 days and i've been on a diet of Frey bentos pies ,McCains hash browns and big soup beef broth, so My colon is churning like a 90 litre Cement mixer. A Superhoops win over these niggling, moaning, groaning shitbags in lillywhite this weekend would be like Getting a hot shot of pharmaceutical pepto bismol straight in the long vein. 4-1 superhoopsa. The 'Two days early, very busy weekend', Preston match thread on 20:05 - Sep 30 with 7426 views | dmm | Preston are a bit weird this season. After an appalling start, they're now draw specialists with 5 on the spin. It looks like the match will be played during another downpour, which we seemed to cope with quite well on Tuesday night, so I'll go for the 2-0 win again. Chair to get the opener but suffer the disappointment of being several days too late for his hattrick.

About time that they lost then. Preston to be washed away in the deluge. 3-0 QPR.

The 'Two days early, very busy weekend', Preston match thread on 11:42 - Oct 1 with 6901 views | Silverfoxqpr | It's easier to predict time changes on a Cardiacs demo tape recorded back in 1979 than it is with this ridiculous league. Luton beating Coventry 5-0 the other day sums it up perfectly. 6-0 Rangers / 1-3 Nobend / any other result you fancy really.

The 'Two days early, very busy weekend', Preston match thread on 13:04 - Oct 1 with 6780 views | DesertBoot | I read Preston are on a nine match unbeaten run but most, if not all, have been draws. That ends tomorrow when it rains - literally and goals. 4-0 Hoops (it's been coming).

The 'Two days early, very busy weekend', Preston match thread on 16:10 - Oct 1 with 6589 views | kensalriser | Preston have won two games at home, Posh and Swansea, and have lost two and drawn three of their away games. This is really a game we should win.

The 'Two days early, very busy weekend', Preston match thread on 17:29 - Oct 1 with 6542 views | wood_hoop | Not an easy game by any means, PNE I don't think will play a high pressing game, but will park the bus hitting us on the break, will need a bit of guile from Chair and Willock . Dykes or Austin to be the 'cosh' up front, throw Grey in the mix and hard to pick who will score first for us, so will wait to see who is selected first,. A tight game on the cards so will go for optomistic 1-0

The 'Two days early, very busy weekend', Preston match thread on 20:43 - Oct 1 with 6395 views | joe90 | I think we’ll see a really turgid game of Championship football in some really crappy conditions tomorrow. It’s going to be classic 0-0.
The 'Two days early, very busy weekend', Preston match thread on 21:27 - Oct 1 with 6354 views | ManinBlack | I like the optimism on here for a big win but the rancid weather conditions might muck up our style of play. For all the good form this year I can only recall a 4-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday. Big wins with unprolific strikers are hard to get. We may play sexy football but teams who do not seem to chalk up big wins. Brum won 5-0 at Luton (how on what we saw the other night?), Luton beat Coventry 5-0 (who had looked good up to this game), Sheffield United couldn't score in a brothel and then beat Peterborough 6-2, Blackburn beat Cardiff 5-1 etc etc blah blah. When are we going to score 5 or more? Won't be tomorrow as I see the Preston keeper was the star man in their draw with Stoke clearly warming up for us to produce another 5 star goalkeeping display like the Bournemouth and Bristol keepers.
