I'll start with the surprising news that we are quite strong favourites to win this.

Mr Power has them at 21/10, the draw at 9/4 and us at a quite skinny looking 13/10

I thought that performance by Stefan Johansen was the best of the season by anybody in hoops. Wish he was ours.

If this is him with his legs gone he must have been some player

Agreed, I think. I can't think of a better performance this season.

Warbs Warbleton would have to be mad as a nail not to want to see what that same starting 11 could do for the next game or two.

Was it a fluke? Rested players? Some secret sauce? The Fibonacci sequence? The Wijs-Dykes Confabulation?

We need answers.

Warburton. Banfield. Eustace.
But WHO is the bloke with the beard?

Its Matt Gardiner, 1st Team Coach, used to be at Kidderminster with Eustace.

We are brilliant. Always have been. Anyone who disagrees is a member of the QAnon conspiracy and might be a Chelsea fan.

Well pleased with the result. I like Willock up front with Charlie, the midfield axis of Johansen and Field superb and that DeWijs fella looks a unit! Yes I know that Brizzle are/were higher up the league than us, but unlike Barnsley who stifled us, I think they let us play and that worked for us. Of course we still had to put the ball in the net and control the game.

Well played lads, and good team choice Warbs. COYRS!!!

Was like others very surprised at the odds beforehand. Yet again today is another example of when I’m proved wrong in football. Whilst 3 games before were disappointing, since Jan it’s shown that Warbs just needed a few better players. I thought at end of 2020 that his time was up but delighted that Les and others kept faith.

I’m still hoping that with 2 games to play there’s still Mathematical chance of playoffs.....and give some bloody noses on the way. With a bit of luck, top half. Amazing to think that’s possible with players we sold in summer.

You know this is a really nice thread, lots of good commentary (thanks Brian) and some very funny comments that made oi larf. (10% of Dulux, Toni Basil song for Dickie )

I watched on QPR+ stream and you know I couldn't see a weak performance from any of the starting players, some excellent passing moves. Some players were very good indeed and of course I'm looking at Johansen and Field in particular. Not sure why no-one seems to be mentioning Wallace, thought he had a very good game.

Feeling very happy and mellow

I have a feeling he will change it on Tuesday and bring back dykes purely to counter the Wycombe physical threat
I hope he don’t

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Two ball players behind Austin, two ball winners in behind them and a new monster centre half.

Just what was needed.....finally. Great set up and one we can build on.

Yeah I was thinking the same, he needs to manage tiredness. May rest Charlie, and Johansen was cramping up badly at the end.

Could be a tough game for us - we seem to struggle against the more direct sides who close us down and do better against the teams who also try to pass the ball and give us a bit more space

The Wijs-Dykes Confabulation have a new album out. The 38 minute gong solo on track 3, entitled 'Falcon Of The 9th Moon Of Xanthar' is masterful.

Need a balance of players to cope with both and exert our own style. Today’s set up was the best balance we have seen all season. Need to persevere with it now and give it time to develop.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

That first half performance is the best I’ve seen us play for a long time.

Field and Johansen were fantastic. Field’s defensive play reminded me of Derry, simply outstanding all game.

Kanaldo's cross for Chair was blinding and he took it very well, perfect glancing header into the corner, keeper no chance.

Warbs Warby Warburton played a blinder, changed it from Weds and got his due rewards.

Decent debut from Suspect de Wijs to go with it and Kakay did well when he came on.

All in all, three points and a clean sheet away. It was a good day.
