The meltdown thread on 17:04 - Feb 6 with 2258 views | Saintsforeverj | Absolute embarrassment. They deserve to be slaughtered for that unacceptable performance. I look forward to the happy clappers telling us its fine to lose to 9 men of an injury ravaged average team.

The meltdown thread on 17:05 - Feb 6 with 2255 views | Sadoldgit | That was worse than the United game. Gifted them 3 goals and then couldn’t break down 9 men. Absolutely appalling. God we miss KWP.
The meltdown thread on 17:06 - Feb 6 with 2240 views | cocklebreath | Awful, Against 9 men and don’t use your 3 subs, pathetic. Redmond awful, Ings at this rate no Fooker will want you. Worse than Tuesday. C&nts.

It was the questions we had wrong. |

The meltdown thread on 17:09 - Feb 6 with 2217 views | dirk_doone | I may be mad to say this but I think that our cup team, with Forster in goal and Salisu in place of Bednarek will beat Wolves, especially if Walker=Peters is back. I don't know how good Salisu is but Bednarek's confidence is totally shot. He needs to be rested for a while and so does McCarthy.

he always leaves subs so late but today was inexcusable I for one don't think Djenepo is up to it but today we were crying out for him on that wet pitch jinking into the box instead of just crossing aimlessly And how many times did redmond fail to clear the first man Its like deja vu WTF

1) We didn't have to spend yesterday driving up to Geordie land. 2) We didn't have to pay and go and watch that.... 3) We don't have to pay for B + B tonight 4) We don't have to get up tomorrow with a steaming hangover and drive home. Probably about it??

Maybe Ings hitting the post was a bad miss? He’s been pony for weeks now

Relax guys - the players clearly don't give a cr4p (despite what they say in the post match interviews) so why should we? Don't be angry / embarrassed. Be indifferent- we Meh on...
The meltdown thread on 17:53 - Feb 6 with 1981 views | 1885_SFC | The game was lost in the final minute of the 1st half today. You can't legislate for such amateur defending - no matter how much training you do during the week over at Staplewood. That was a comedy of errors by McCarthy/Bertrand today.

So long as we stay above the bottom three - safe as houses. We are skint. [Post edited 6 Feb 2021 19:35]

Bertrand was far too casual. He had time to do better. But it shouldn’t have mattered, We should have won this once they were down to 10.

It was an appalling performance and we have had two very poor games on the trot. Do you think it has been an appalling season so far just because we have had a bad week? Tell that to the bottom three clubs and see what they say.

This 100% although I wouldn’t blame Bertrand so much. With seconds to go to half time McCarthy just needs to put his foot through the ball and launch it upfield. Job done. We then very nearly went 4-1 down at the start of the second half but when up the other end and pulled one back. The third goal was the killer but we gifted them all three and gave ourselves a mountain to climb.
